Pretty, pretty, pretty! What would happen if you didn't wrap up your "jelly roll," or even twisted it around itself? Would it turn out interestingly mottled, or just a muddy mess?

It wouldn't be completely muddy, but there would be green and orange splotches on the yellow for sure. I probably could have placed this in the steamer basket without wrapping it up, in jars or something similar to that, to avoid the plastic wrap.
