Ohhhh the toner is what was mixing from the box dye kit my sisters came out yellowish with sum light blonde near the scalp area. Ok so gotta get sum 20 toner. I wonder should I get 1 or 2 bottles? Her hair is a looser curl and it's shoulder length.

Can you dye your hair platinum in ONE day ...or should it be a two day process???

I would not recommend you do it in one day because you don’t wanna damage your hair. I dyed my hair the second time a week after.

While I was out shopping today. (2-15-2022) I noticed a blk children's book in a store. The title was HAIR LOVE. I picked it up and read a little. The story was about a young black couple maybe in their thirties. With a young daughter about five or six years old. The father was helping his child style her hair. He seemed to be encouraging her to go with an afro type of style. How cute. But at the end of the book there was a depiction of the whole family together. The mother had her hair strait and dyed yellow. I ask myself two very necessary questions. First why do so many blk women hate their natural African selves that much? Not many will wear nature hair for even 7 days out of the year. Second why would the creator of this book just insist on depicting the mother in this way? Even ending the book in that manner. 👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏼

We don’t hate nothing. We just want to dye our hair like any other race can. Whites, Asians and anyone else can dye their hair blonde without criticism but a black person does it we want to act white when in fact blonde isn’t a white person hair colour as black people can have natural blonde hair

Yazi, we are not like other people lest not across the board. And do you actually know those other people never get criticism for dying their hair in that manner. If you are one of those black people born that way fine. But the parts of Africa many of us come from it's just not common. Except among some albinos

That is not platinum. In the UK we would call that yellow with ginger accents. Platinum is a white blonde.
