DYEING MY CLOTHES WITH COFFEE??

In today's video I attempted to dye my clothes with instant coffee!!??

Hi, some things to know about natural dying clothes… you have to scour your clothes first which means to wash any dirt or oil build up. That way the dye has more foundation to stick on the fibers of the clothing. Next, you have to boil the contents (coffee, plants, bark, etc.) 1 part contents to 3 parts water. Boil these for up to 1 - 3 hours to extract the pigment at its best. Turn the heat off. Then you have to drop in your clothes you wish to dye. And let it soak for a whole day. Dry them under shade and cure them for up to a week. The more your cure them, the more pigment will stick to the fibers. Then you can wash it! And be amazed

You don’t dry them in the sun because the sun will fade the colors away :p

You'll want to use more coffee grounds. Perhaps instant coffee and let them soak at least a day or two. Enjoyed this
