Why would you throw away clothes just because there's a stain on them!? Especially indoor clothes. Who's gonna notice? At least convert them into working clothes, wear them every time your bleach something or stuff like that.
@whattomakeofit34363 ай бұрын
There are fabric markers too. They could just color it in or dye without bleaching.

Charities don't want your stained dirty clothes. They can't sell it and they won't give ruined clothes to a needy person because it harms their image. All you're doing is wasting charity resources as they now have to pay to have it legally disposed of

YESSSS!!!!!!! , tho i think theyre just being dramatic and sensationalizing for the video ((hopefully)) but anyway,, yesss!!! I was just leaving a google review like 10 mins ago on nordstrom rack about how i love stores that take stuff from other stores that havent sold their stuff n give it to places like Nordstrom rack marshalls, tj maxx, home goods etc....to give it a 2nd chance to be sold !!!!! Cuz 1. Less waste of brand new very usable items/clothing 2. You can get really nice brands for way cheaper 3.2nd hand stuff has more character and uniqueness which in turn makes the item more special 4. These types of stores and thrift stores are just plain awesomee imo !!!!! These are just afew of the MAJOR positives from going to 2nd hand stores/thrift storess so always donate, reuse repurpose !!!! And also if you dont have the means to get to a a place to donate your old clothing/belongings ??? Imo The next best thing to do is neatly organize and then place the stuff on a busy corner near you w a "FREE" sign and majority of stuff will be gone by the end of the day and everything will likely be gone within 2 days , especially furniture, i have have found some of my best tables n couches from the the streets, tho it is very important to thoroughly check the furniture you are about to bring home so you dont bring in any pests (obviously ) as well as wipe it down when you get home n wash any clothes you have found!

Could you please tell me how you removed the color in this case? I messed up my favorite black sweater with bleach, and I thought about making yellow. I think the yellow you got from just removing the color already looks pretty good.

Like anyone would go through the trouble to remove the dye and re-dye, a pair of grey sweatpants you can get anywhere
@caristewart481 Жыл бұрын
I did 🤷♀️ I have a favorite pair that, while they are 10ish years old and in pretty good condition, I cant find them anymore in stores. I have other pairs but nothing compares to these ones. I did this to save them from a bleach accident and general staining that was visible from the black dye leaching out over the years. They look brand new now! It was fun and easy to do. Did it to an old black shirt first though to get the process down before sacrificing the pants. 10/10 recommend.

Why are you online bragging about the fact that you don’t care about the literal ground you walk on oh you’re so cool. Personally, I would just keep wearing it but I’m not a little soft Nutsack who can’t handle a bit of different color on a pair of pants that you wear around the house.

The pants were still in perfectly good condition! She didn’t need a new pair. I would probably have used a fabric marker for a stain that small, but the dye job isn’t an unreasonable thing to do.
