I love dyeing deep saturated colors, too. I wanted to create something soft and really highlight the beauty of the natural wool color on this one. I was just so nervous it would be too subtle!

My bonus skein is much, much lovelier in person than on my phone's screen. Perhaps it's that the different fibers take up dye differently, but there's a beautiful glazed effect that I would not have expected. And-at least under my current lighting conditions-the undyed portions seem to have an elegant lavender tone. I'm so very happy with my entire package.

I am sure that you like the grey yak in the blend but have you tried dyeing the merino, white yak and silk blend fingering weight from Knomad?
