Love these colours. Perfect for all kinds of Unicorns - according to my 6 year old grand daughter who is an authority on all things Unicorn there are different types! So now you know. xxJane

Oooooh Sparkles!!! ✨ Beautifully gorgeous colors Rebecca!!! This was an amazing and relaxing video to watch...(had a 10 day old baby, 1 year old, 5 year old and a 6 year old in the house last night for 3 hours...it was a nightmare!!!) I was still stressed out today...this video totally relaxed my mind, watching you spread colors onto the lovely sparkle yarn. Thank you for making my day!!! Happy dying from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️Marie

I'm glad that it was so relaxing! We had our house filled with 6 kids 2-5 for about a week and it was pure chaos. Adorable chaos, but wild. (And why I'm just now getting to all of these comments!)

Have you tried doing the tye dying techniques on yarn? Using rubber bands.
@ICanCraftThat15 жыл бұрын
She has done similar but with yarn not rubber bands to resist
@ChemKnitsTutorials5 жыл бұрын
I haven't done rubber bands, but I have done zip ties, yarn ties, and a few other resist techniques. Here is a livestream where I looked at 3 different resists kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWG9Zp2FasmNhbs and the recap: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e164nmpoZs-da5I

Could you warm a pan on a glass top stove with no issue? I’ve only seen people using gas ranges.
@ChemKnitsTutorials5 жыл бұрын
I cannot say 100% for sure since I've never really used one before. I would guess that if the bottom of the pan is flat that it could work... but I don't know. I would go really slow with heating it up. I've used an electric hot plate with different pots with no trouble before, but I haven't tried it with this type of steam pan (since it isn't wide enough.)

I'm 11 minutes into the video and I'm just tripping and loving this yarn. I want to try and make some of my own. I just can't order any more yarn from knitpicks yet.

I know the feeling of wanting more yarn. Although right now I am a TON of yarn since I stocked up at the end of the year. Which means that I can start going a bit wild with some of my videos since I have so many materials. ;)

Pretty! I love the "no dye left behind" experiments! Question: went do you've call it "unicorn"?
@ChemKnitsTutorials5 жыл бұрын
I'm not 100% sure on the question, Ada, but for the DPW #91 the sponsor requested unicorn type colors so it got me thinking like that and wanting to do it on a sparkle base.

@@ChemKnitsTutorials lol! Seems I didn't proofread it before hitting send! 😊 And my tablet filled in the wrong words! But you answered my question about why you called it "unicorn" colors. Thanks! 🦄

@@GKDmomma Hehe no worries. I'd likely name everything unicorn if I could. ;)
