I love dyeing eco alpaca. The socks that I knit with the yarn feel heavenly when I wear them. Love your comparing eco alpaca and stroll.

I LOVE this color!!!! I used the Eco to sweetart dye yarn for a baby sweater, I was VERY pleased with the color "blips" I got.

Great episode. I would love to see you do the wool/silk experiment.

That really is a fantastic color, deep and rich! I do like seeing the same DOS on different bases because not only do the actual materials take up the color differently, the texture differences really show it differently as well.

Hello my wool love! Thank you so much for this video! For this year I have already dyed almost too much raw wool to spin, but this color I remember well for next year. It is sooo beautiful! Oh maybe ... 😍

Holly smokes you've been busy! How can you do so many videos lately? I am loving all the info from this, I know the colours are going to be different on different yarn bases but the reminder is so important.

This has been a busy week for sure! Partly it is because it is the end of the month (so Dyepot PS had to come out for this month still) plus I did that livestream. :D

Thanks for another great episode! I am interested in how alpaca takes dye, or doesn't. Do you think the relatively higher quantity of nylon in the alpaca yarn played a part in making the resulting colour come out so close to the merino yarn? In other words, if one followed the same process but the two yarns were 100% alpaca and 100% merino, would there would be more difference in the colours achieved?
