I've had 2 farmers commit suicide in my area in NE iowa within 3 years. Not a word to anyone about why. I knew both of them. Good people. Things just aren't what they used to be.

I watched it today, I'm a grain farmer myself and the ending got me really bad because i could relate to a lot of it. Terribly sad for the families alike.

I’m getting out of agriculture once my lease ends in 2 years. My buddy told me the only retirement plan right now for farmers is the smith and Westin. It’s sad but it just isn’t worth farming anymore.

It’s sad that us as a farming community think that that’s our last hope

Had to make it look like an accident so the family and operation would get the insurance money

Beautiful short movie, very poignant. I think the isolation is a part of it, years ago there used be lots of men working together taking turns helping on each others farms. All gone now.

I’d love to watch this documentary but it links to a documentary about farmers in England while this promo is about farmers and America. Does anybody know where I could watch the actual documentary that’s presented in this particular preview?
