Barney is a pos. He let's his "best friend" die. Acts like a pos afterwards towards you, like it's your fault. He literally led 2 people to their deaths because he wanted to prove he could do something, which he proved he couldn't. His sister constantly defends his actions. And the entire time you're helping the survivors, they treat you like garbage. I get you're an outsider at the beginning, but after sometime you'll expect you'll be treated alot better.

The survivors try to hang u, they still be pissy to u even after u help, sophie sends loads of survivors on a mission even tho she KNOWS that they won't survive and then sends u and u end up being the only survivor, they blow up a pk outpost for really no reason. Aitor actually treats u like a human, he accidentally killed 2 of his men unlike Sophie who killed so much more but on purpose.

When I found out there was no other way to go back to the peacekeepers I was so pissed. The survivors are assholes whole complain and do nothing but hide. While the Peacekeepers try and fix the city

The only reason I side with the survivors in Old Villedor is because siding with the PK turns it into a ghost town since both bases are abandoned, but with the survivors the bazar stays

i just like peacekeepers more then survivors. Its like, survivors tried to kill you first time and peeps like Barney keep insulting you when you help them. On other hand, Right from start you tried to bypass peacekeepers in tunnels, violating their protocols, and instead of executing you, you got a deal and their support. I like Aitor, he's Pretty good person. Maybe it's because they make me remember Brotherhood Of Steel from fallout series, i like these guys too lol.

not executing is like a bare minimum thats not a good thing, and the only reason they didnt was 1 to question you and 2 because aitor thought he could leverage opening the tunnel to pretty much blackmail aiden into spying for him

in my opinion PK are the best ending true they somewhat are tyrans and set stirct rules but they eventually make city the last city standing safer by killing all zombies in it also strict rules are needed when apocalypse happens i mean survivors are also one way but people are still dying they life in shadows and wait for god knows if u help PK they set a lot of traps for zombies that are we can say effective while survivors help is giveing u new ways of transport and not going to ground so i stay with PK

The into the dark quest won't start after handing in barney to Aitor. I tried restarting my game and nothing changed. Does anyone know what to do?

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the storyline in Old Villador. Or, for that matter, how your major faction choices impact the game. The Survivors are mostly stubborn jerks, with some pretty douch people leading them, at least the Bazaar does. Carl is this has been priest who just preaches about freedom and acting like he's some messiah. Barney is just a straight up jackass who got his friends killed to prove something(one of them was only 16 and it was his birthday btw) and Sophie is at least not as crazy as her brother, but is still hot headed and stupid. All of them act like they are creating a better future for humanity, one where everyone can live as they see fit, but the truth is that they are just anarchists trying to take control. The Peace Keepers, on the other hand, actually are making an effort to change things around for the better. They try to clear the streets of Zombies and bandits, promote law and order, and you can actually see some of them help Survivors in need. The PKs do have their flaws of course, but they aren't tyrants looking for power. They just want to bring peace and order to Villador. My problem with the story is that it's pretty biased towards the Survivors. You choose to help the Bazaar, PKs Old Villador base is destroyed. Side with the PKs instead, both the Metro and the Bazaar get wrecked. Same with the VNC Tower. If you hand it to Frank, Aiden will warn him about the missiles and a lot of lives are saved. But if you hand it over to the PKs, Aiden will still warn Frank about the missiles, and he'll still go out and warn others. But since he can't reach enough people without the VNC, a lot of people end up dying, including Frank. Now, in that scenario, why would Aiden tell Frank about the missiles when he would know that the PKs could warn far more people, since they have the radio? All he had to do was contact Jack Matt, and he'll do it. Instead, it's like the game punishes you for siding with the PKs.

Yeah i agree with the survivor bias, i mean if you stick with pks to the end you are practically responsible for the tyrany beign imposed in villador, would be better if you could have a pk ending which doesnt make you an asshole, like i dont know knowing that jack is not fit for leadership making someone else a leader, maybe ability to save Rowe... but as the game stands there is no "happy" ending if you side with pks which is a shame really.

@@Astewir Yeah, the only good ending is with the Survivors. But there isn't anything good about the Survivors ending, it's just soup kitchens and this whole "we are one community" talk. I wished they would've explored these endings more so they all aren't so black and white, y'know?

@@Astewir If only Rowe had survived the assault on the VNC tower, and learned of the plot to kill Frank, he likely would have defected from the Peacekeepers or created a rebellion with Meyer to remove Matt's leadership. (Sorry if my grammar isn´t good, the english isn´t my first language)

Hmmm...I am glad I saw this, and glad I stuck with survivors. You lose the PK base regardless but you can save the Bazaar and their people are less homicidal, you get a peaceful resolution with the survivors
