sound cutting out at the end is what made me get off, because when that happens you have no sound at all other than aiden breathing. and literally NOTHING fixes it other than completely restarting the game. Going to the main menu and back doesn't fix it either. I even tried just leaving the game over night, about 27 hours and even after all that time the sound was still broken. So completely closing the game and restarting is the only way to fix that glitch. Also meaning if you're doing something that you can't just restart the game during, like a speedrun, you'll just either have to restart completely or deal with having no sound for the rest of the run.

This game has serious audio problems, not sure if it's a console thing, but it's frustraring.

The main issue is these problems got WORSE after launch. They weren't even this bad at launch as I've been playing since launch. Half of these issue's I've gotten were brought in by techland after an update. I don't even remember getting any of this when I was playing at launch. It's actually pathetic how much of a downgrade DL2 is. It HAS the potential to be a LOT better than the first game, but it's so broken, buggy, and lazily made. The god awful microtransactions, stupid RPG style healthbar crap, reusing the same agent every single update using the most boring loop gameplay imaginable. They REALLY fell off with this game, I want The Beast to be better but given how they treated DL2 my expectations are VERY low. Don't even get me started on the insane amount of screen tearing that would easily be fixed that you see at just about any frame of this entire video. It's pathetic. not to mention directional audio in headphones basically doesn't work as it's entirely wrong, you can't tell what direction something is by audio in the second game because everything just sounds the same. And there's no audio setting in the settings to change this either. You're just stuck with it.

Haven’t noticed the sound issue since the Christmas event started. Game will blatantly crash now though. Not complaining though. Technically I’m playing for free. The timing on the PS+ release was crazy, after Dead Island 2 I was itching to play this lol
