I quite liked Dead Island (apart from the fast running zombies, they were annoying). It also didn't have any replay value for me either, because it was the same story and the same missions for every character. But fingers crossed, if this has got the good stuff from Dead Island, and has fixed the annoying stuff, then Dying Light should be pretty fun.

Man, people hate on Dead Island way too much, it wasn't that fucking bad. Sure it had some bugs, but it was ambitious atleast. Deadrising is a game that I was really disappointed in. Besides guys, this is a demo. It's still in beta so chill out everyone and wait and see.

I swear it, from the moment I heard about it, I've been waiting every single day till release day... Dying Light and Evil Within, they appear at PS4 release back in 2013,i was still on PS3 when I heard about Dying Light first time.. I loved every second of it.. Dying Light 2 is not even at 50% level up of Dying Light.... YOU really were afraid when the daylight was vanishing away and dark was taking over... The nights were really horror... the shadow casted by moon, the sounds, the roaring of the zombies,.. Everything!!! Dying Light feeling is almost impossible to be achieved by any other game I've played lately.. The only one that lifted up at his magnitude is Days Gone.

It looks like techland were trying to make it similar to the first Dead Island. Glad they changed it. Also, the Hazmat suit explosion looked WAY better than release. Still prefer release over this though.

I'm certain you can play it slow if you like, they are just trying to show off as many features in as little time as possible. If dead island is anything to go by then this will be pretty flexible with what pace you navigate the world. In dead island you could slowly walk through a zone taking each zombie down, or you could blaze through i seemingly large area in moments.]

Yea, I had alot of expectations for dead island, but it wasn't as good as I thought it will become. So I say dying light covers every single thing I wanted in it and 500% more :D And It feels a bit like the free roaming of mirror's edge, a game which I played to hell, so that's another possitive point for the game. I'm really looking forward to play it.
