Dude it's insane, I have over 1200 hrs and regularly get in matches with apex predators that absolutely annihilate me, I'm surprised there was never an esports or bigger following behind BTZ because the matches would be fucking cracked sometimes, just watch some of spidergamez gameplay, he was heavy into it and watching him is insane

Humans can just push a button to avoid a tackle, and flash with UV light for a single frame and completely cancel a pounce. Hunter can't react to a DFA or drop kick animation, but Human can react to Tackle *and* Pounce. And they get to just constantly see where the Night Hunter is while the Night Hunter has to *scream* for it. It'd be cooler if stealth was an option...

The game is indeed unbalanced in the humans favor though. The humans aren't OP at all, but they have a clear asvantage when fighting more than one. Specially when you begin new to the game and the game oitches you against 4 level 250s and they are sweaty af as well 😂 At least I killed them once each. So I lost, but with pride that I at least managed to kill them. One was with the suicide bombers, the others were because I finally caught them with the UV spit and chain-pounced them until the fourth manage to get away. But they bullied tf our of me lmao

I've been a friendly foe once, and it was because it was a new player who accidentally left invasions on and didn't know what was going on, so I stopped to explain everything. Still talk to that dude. Otherwise, I'm a terrible Night Hunter, Hard for me to handle more than two people. But i keep coming back because it's just so much fun! even if I am taking an L more often than a win. :)

So how hunters are supposed to play in your opinion? I’m just asking ‘couse I see a lot of criticism coming from you, but in reality a lot of it, is just people trying different things to balance this game mode. I’ve seen humans shooting arrows without pulling them(you did it as well), doing dropkick up in the sky, doing DFA from just avoiding tackle, abusing space button, and many more. That’s all without counting cheaters and traditional countering spits tactics (flares, camo, medi-kits). I’ve been playing this week after year of break and the best thing I’ve seen by now is possibility to counter DFA trough instant tackle, tho it requires insane reflexes and can still be avoided.

Rule makers exist on the human side too and it's kinda hilarious. I had a guy tell me in all caps NO SPITS after I stuck him with UV and killed him, and the best part was that he was using the Van Crane outfit. Which I didn't say a single word about. As long as it's not a mod, whatever, use it, it's in the game so fair play, I'm not complaining. But if you think you get to tell a Hunter not to use fucking spits while using the Van Crane outfit you're on a different level of delusion.
