Dying Locs Ginger & Golden Brown from Black ft. My Brother | First Time

Here's how I dyed my brother's hair from black to ginger & golden brown. This is my first time dying locs and someone else's hair that's not mine. This is also his first time completely coloring his hair. So this was definitely exciting and cool. I'm glad I captured this moment for us and to share the process with yall.
Dye Colors Used:
Clairol 4RC Cherrywood (on the top front half)
Clairol 5G Light Golden Brown (on the back half)
Bleach:
Clairol 30 Developer
Clairol Lightening Powder

Here for the answer too? I thought I misunderstood her if she out the box color on first it didn’t take so she bleached it then colored it the other color. I’m trying to get this color too me and the brother have the same skin complex it looked good on him

yes, correct. I put the color on his head, saw it was gonna be extra dark (i assumed the box dye would have some type of lift) so i put the bleach on top. then rinse it all out.
