everyone keep saying it is not purple and blue , well it is not , because her hair is not a level 10 of blonde , and she didn't use a dark strong tone of dye , she uses a pastel colour , in fact : the purple remove the yellow tone in her hair , and the blue remove the orange tone in her hair " see the colour wheel so you can understand " , so what happened is the colour did what toners do( remove the yellowish ), so it became grey , if she want the purple colour she must use a dark violet to achieve it .

Idk, I dye my hair a lot and how I keep it healthy is you use tee tree oil which gives more oils in ur hair than the natural ones. Doesn't make ur hair Greasy either.

+Chrysler McGee I dye my hair blue a lot. actually, I am in the process of dying my whole head right now! Yeah, my hair is actually softer when I dye it. I put the oil ( not even a full squirt) into the dye which makes its smoother and makes ur hair softer. And reduces dandruff or reduces the possibilities of dandruff

It's strange cause it looks very grey on the video for some reason. It doesn't pick up the color at all. But on your instagram you can really see the beautiful blue that this is colored and turned out to be. its not wierd that happens several times for those who have light hair, Just like nail polishing, if you applied a color, you can still see your nail, but as soon as you applied it again, the color will be visible itself, the color she had is not dark enough to cover her blonde, plus she puts too much conditioner too, so she needs to redye it, to have the color she desires.

+HeartEyeEmoji Cactus When you dye your hair you bleach it before so saying "those who have lighter hair" makes no sense, she put too much conditioner in with the dye so it resulted in a much lighter hair color, plus the reason the purple didn't show up is because she put it on over the blue, you're just supposed to put it on the blonde hair and blend it into the blue.

But.. It's not purple. It's ash. See, before your hair was a yellow/ orange color and just putting the light violet on your hair just toned it.. And because it's semi permanent it will wash out to the color you had before in maybe a couple of days.. Looks good tho!!🦄🔮

You're not supposed to shampoo your hair after colouring it, the shampoo will just take away some of the colour which is why it didn't change much

+MissChesnie G because I've been dying my hair for five years now and have used Ion Color Semi-Permanent Brights/Neons for four of those lol. It just helps with the vividness and maintains the color. Shampoo opens the cuticle and that causes you to lose the color faster. Conditioner closes the cuticle which keeps the color from bleeding as badly and keeping it bright and such.

+Cats Dogs Don't be scared!!!! I was so nervous to actually dye it but once I actually did I was sosososo happy with the results. I used to be so timid and shy but it gave me so much confidence and I freaking love it. I've also never seen someone look weird with colored hair! It looks great on everyone! Just depends on the color(s) you choose - I.e. don't pick colors that wash you out, pick colors that compliment your skin tone. The bleaching process is the only part that damages your hair, but if you're going firetruck red then there's a product that I could recommend that does so without using bleach. It's amazing! Also, If you don't like it, have it dyed back to your previous color and do a couple hair masks and deep conditioning treatments a couple times a week for about a month and your hair should be fine.
