Soon Yi is the adopted daughter of André Previn and Mia Farrow. Woody Allen never lived with Mia and her children, and married Soon Yi 24 years ago when Soon Yi was 26. At the time of the alleged abuse, the Yale-New Haven Hospital investigated the case, and after speaking to Dylan came to the conclusion that she had been coached by her mother. The Connecticut State's Attorney investigated the allegation and also didn't press charges, as well as the New York Department of Social Services that found "no credible evidence" to support the allegation. Moses Farrow, Dylan's brother, says he remembers Mia coaching Dylan to say Woody abused her. Mia is a monster who took child support from Woody to raise Ronan when she knew full well that she had cheated on Woody, and that Ronan was Frank Sinatra's son. Mia Farrow is a psycopath that abused her children (according to two of them) and warned Woody she would get her vengeance for being nothing more than a woman scorned because her ex-boyfriend married her adult adopted daughter who she allegedly abused (according to Soon Yi). Do your research Drew, or get back to working with E.T.
@BeautyIsMyLife3 жыл бұрын
I must say this is a compelling argument. I'm not completely secure as far as an opinion because I wasn't there and so there's no way that I can know what happened. However when watching Allen versus Farrow I did have some thoughts. One of them being about Roman Polanski and the other about how she confessed that she never stopped seeing Frank Sinatra ever since they were 1st together. Those 2 things were not included in what was supposed to be a neutral documentary. It is obvious that Ronan is Sinatra's son and not Woody. It sounds like from the documentary that Allen was not the best at being in a relationship and so they both did crappy things. That's just kind of what it can be like in an unhealthy relationship. Because of those 2 main glaring red flags that I mentioned, it isn't too far fetched for me to believe that she may have influenced the situation with Dylan.
@rl123453 жыл бұрын
@@BeautyIsMyLife Adding to that, Woody always made it clear he never wanted to marry her or live with her or have kids with her and he did see other people while he was with her. Knowing this she still stayed with him, and still tried to convince him to have a kid with her thinking this might get him to marry her. Then one day she's "suddenly" pregnant. And yet he still didn't want to marry her. How outraged she must have been at having been rejected only to find out he was sleeping with her daughter. That explains the Valentine's Day card and the midnight phone calls of her screaming she wanted his eyes poked out. And then Dylan's "suddenly" assaulted...what does Mia do? She asks the psychologist if she should marry Woody and shows up on a movie set ready to work with him. Totally crazy! Throw in how she treated Dory Previn and we begin to see that Mia is capable of anything...lying and weaponizing her daughter is just a drop in the bucket.

I used to enjoy Woody Allen movies. We own most of them. Not sure I can ever re-watch them. Before you start with all your WA excuses. Just stop. The theme of most of his movies is: VERY young girl falls for much older guy (him). He acted like a father to Soon-yi from the time she was adopted by Mia at age SEVEN, worked on her from a young age, took no clothes pics of her while still with Mia, and fittingly came out as being in a relationship with Soon-yi the second she hit legal age. Creepy, no matter how you try spin it. Dylan has no reason to come out with this, besides telling her truth. All she gains is hate from random people online, who has zero compassion, and would rather trust and support a clearly bad person. I do not care if ONE of her siblings speak against her. Her mom, and most of her other siblings corroborate her experience. Including a price winning journalist who exposed Weinstein. So just, try to find some compassion in your heart, instead of blindly believing an artist that you love. It is OK to love his movies, but despise him as a human.

The prosecutor didn't bring charges because he knew there was no case. That's good enough for me. Dylan can still sue Woody in civil court, the statute of limitations is not up. The burden of proof is lower in a civil trial than it is in a criminal trial, so she would have a better chance of winning the case, she would be vindicated and become a multi millionaire. What's up with this family? It is disturbed to say the least. And I know why. Dylan knows her mother probably made it up and is lying. Mia knows it too, but she can't bear to tell Dylan. Therefore they have never had a good relationship. Mia is also far more upset that Woody went off with Soon-Yi, then she ever would be upset that Dylan potentially got molested. If you watch episode 4 of the documentary, Mia says it. She says she never brought another guy in the house in fear that he'd go off with another one of her adopted kids. @@bethburger1426 Actually, more than one person can't collaborate the thumb sucking...the accusation comes directly from Mia from her autobiography. Woody says it never happened saying the idea of someone sucking his thumb would be disgusting. Moses Farrow has stated he had never observed Woody doing anything remotely like this.

I love Drew but I think this interview was in poor taste. Dylan may just be delusional, her delusions fueled by her mother's hate towards Woody.

Why is Woody presumed guilty and this woman presumed innocent? Without due process?! Our culture is screwed without due process. Dangerous precedent.

I dont either. and i'm the biggest "believe the victim" person ever but this is the one and only case i just dont believe. i think she believes it happened, but i dont think it did. and this is not in defense of woody because I think he is a pretentious a-hole. and i dont think mia was scorned or did this on purpose either. i think mia thought the worst of him and unknowingly put her own dark ideas into the head of baby dylan who then began to believe her interactions were inappropriate and maybe even imagined things that never happened. this story is too similar to me because i had something very similar happen to me as a child by an older sibling who would ask me weird questions about my dad/uncle and years later when I grew up I came to realize they were never true, just all in her head and she made my relationship with my dad and uncle weird for me growing up.

Because every investigation concluded that nothing happened. Which is totally obvious if you look into this story with any depth. This is ALL the result of a woman scorned.

Sorry but the only thing Dylan Farrow is famous for is being the daughter of Mia Farrow. Why does this get her a spot on TV as a significant person? She's not a public figure, she literally has no important career of any kind. At least her brother is a TV personality.

Of dear, Drew Barrymore has been reduced to the sad existence of daytime talkshow host? When did this happen? "Life is a book with many chapters?" 🤮 Sure if you're a rich white American women that's probably true. The takeaway of that interview is that Drew was probing Dylan for advice about how find a man who doesn't mind being married to woman who talks about herself all day every day, frequently digressing into deep vocal fry.
