Dylan Moran is one the greatest stand up performers of our generation. His gifts reside not only in his performance but in his writing, his narration, making his work into a story he tells and making it so rich in words including made-up words, and making his stories so real. I wish we could see him here, but I can picture him, and I saw him once perform in York, and I often watch his other work... he is a genius, a writer, a story teller, a true comic, and he doesn't have to stoop to obscenities unless he wants to, so when he does, you know he had a good reason for doing so.

I would add that successfully moving rapidly into the surreal or absurd marks him out from others less skilled in the art of comedy.

Honestly him saying that as a father, he thinks about how his children will cope when he dies. My dad broke down before having heart surgery worrying about us if he were to die during it. I think it’s the only time I saw him cry. I love him so much, but I don’t show it enough as I live abroad now 😞

Such an elegantly efficient joke teller my goodness, it's only right to be charmed by this silly man. I want to send him cake. It's approaching a need. Thank you for posting, even though it makes me feel like I owe him a bit of money.

Are you still doing standup guru? Still working in Vancouver? Got an extra smartphone? Mine just took a dive so if you have an "old one" (not yours but an older one) recycle it my way please. Cya

Sadly the one you got me actually broke as well so I'm currently using a temp one myself until I can get a proper one :( it's sad because I loved that one you got me a lot too! otherwise I would send you one if I had it

pos. social thank you! you know I do really appreciate it and you for all your help. but I couldn`t trouble you to ask for something like a new phone again, it`s a tall order I know. Likewise let me know if I can help you with something art/design related! even if you want an opinion or review of something :)

I can't listen to this. I love him. But part of his allure is his gestures. My spidey-senses don't believe that Dylan would like this. Dylan has beautiful hair and his playing with it (particularly in Black Books) slayed me. I love his political in-correctness is something I believe in.

❤❤❤🤗😓😓😢 This will sound totally unrelated, but get something called nucca x-rays if you possibly can. I haven't heard your description, but sometimes certain friends, or just people out there talking, remind me of the way that vagus nerve and brain stem pressure-which I had no idea I'd/ve had my entire life, until I got hit in my car and suddenly my life was basically over, and no one could explain why this minor car accident was so bad for me. Anyway, if either or both of your upper two vertebrae are twisted or Tilted or not centered, or all of the above, the vagus nerve and the brain stem pressure combined, or maybe even individually, are for all purposes depression, anxiety, and hysteria buttons

I can't believe there wasn't a single person with a camera filming this live. someone needs to film this, Dylan Moran is Hilarious. Film it and post it on youtube the next time he's in town, this is pure gas. This is definitely something I'm adding to my watch later list(in order to listeng to it later, for feck's sake, (I don't have a son called feck)

It is so sad how cultures are dieing, the way media is ruining stuff a bit, how everything is so sexualised, children are... I agree so much with all of this

I can tell you that character is still at play. Just meaning that, later on I've seen movies that we liked as I was a kid, and whenever sex came up I was confused and not interested in investigating🤷🏻♀️. When I was 12 my mother told me, "you never notice men staring you at you at all". I just found it unimaginable, and sort of frightening. But back not as far as we would think in history, the marital age was quite a bit younger - in 1840 the life expectancy in the most successful imperialist country in the world was the same as the last two digits of the year. And none of these men catcalled or anything🤷🏻♀️

@gamefreakforlife4 жыл бұрын
saw him do it on an old show or do this live. Cleaning the ovens is bending through your knees with your feet apart and making a windmill motion with one arm in front of you as if you are cleaning out an oven. Judging the mice is standing up straight with one arm in front of you and your pointerfinger extended. Then pointing down every few seconds as if there is an army of mice in front of you. Looks very nightfever-ish

IIMidorikoII Very late but "couple of wee glasses of wine, it was lovely." "what happened then, did your friends go?" "oh I dunno, I was like that" "I was like that" meaning totally drunk. He does a little drunk pose when you see him live with that line that gives more of an idea what he means.
