Incredible, when I looked at the date this was recorded it said 2007, if that is correct this guy STILL manages to nail it. Heck, if it was 2017, still topical. Love Dylan Moran. I only wish my Irish aunt were alive to hear this.

I am genuinely curious as to how you can have a singular Irish Aunt without say, Irish parents or Irish Grandparents.

I'm always struck by the bizaare collection of "news" on BBC radio. There's always strange stories of cross dressers or menage a trois households, shoe-horned in with important stories of illegal coffee growing by Nestler in nature preserves in East Africa...I'm so glad to have it confirmed by Dylan. --If a prophetic gift is the gift of truth telling, Dylan's got it. So refreshing!

I have to admit, I loved in particular the anti-American stuff. I've lived for 30 years in Europe and now thirty years in New York (which isn't really America) and the occasional bout of virtue signaling shite I have to listen to when I go back to the little green island (not that's some shite in itself, the "green' bit that is), especially from middle class suburban wankers who just well, "they know better". Some of them love to ask me about "Trump", like I'd personally picked him out a line up as I'd been chosen in the lotto as the sole voter in the Federal Election. Not only had I guided him through the party nomination process it seems, but apparently I was to account for the the fact that he'd scaled to the great heights of living in the White House. God my FB posts must be persuasive, who'd have thunk it.And then sometimes (I'm still on about the Dublin 4 brigade), when (I'm a political junkie) I start to explain (at considerable length mind you, because I'm pissed off) what makes up a Trump voter, I get a glazed over look, like, eh, I didn't really want an answer, I was just making polite conversation. Well, here's a thing, maybe get a better opening line you "slagger" who thinks they're so clever and wants me who has to live under a proto fascist, to mount a wry knowing, smile and go, oh yeah, you're so very clever. Look at you, you've figured out that he's a wanker, well good for you, now there's some insight I can take to the brain bank of ideas, wow. Fuck me, talk about patronizing, you gotta love the Oirish. Rant out, my fingers are getting tired of typing.
