This game will always favour attack, because if people couldn’t score.. they’d just stop playing because they weren’t enjoying it. A skilled defender, will always be undone by something the game decides.

Rebounds bro...literally every goal iv conceded is a rebound or a 4 v 2 for my opponent...second man press is ASS...advanced defending has gotten me like 50 red cards from accumulated yellows sometimes I barely just tap X

I don fn understand how but every time I use a corner kick and opponent counter attacks my cbs are so far away from each other opponents striker receives the ball and all alone going to my goal. I use high line 70, both cbs are regular defender roles. Couldn’t find any solution to this. Fc 24 defending was way better imo. Any help would be appreciated because I suffer so bad 😂

I started playing career and I have got a massive problem on defending!!!When I lose the ball my cdms/cms and full backs won't run back and as a result I have to defend with just my 2 cbs!Sometimes I get into 2vs4 situations and I concede many goals because of that.I play on legendary in old gen. My problem is ill get a chance shoot goalkeeper saves it then he theirs it up the field and suddenly its a 5v2 i only Got 2 defenders to choose from, the other center back and the two backs are just jogging back via the si as well and I have tried to put everything on max defense but nothing works in this horrible game I’m on ps4

It's not even that it's horrible it's really not that bad it's how you utilize and learn you have to learn it and but what you can do is make both your fullbacks on defend so that way ur not always stuck with 2 and can have 4 next thing is you have to take ur time when defending don't always try to rush it you have to pick up on their habits that's working to score on u and remember to stop that until you see they start running out of options and this also heavy relies on the players that have plus which means they will play they roll so well and choose how you want don't give everyone the plus because it's going to feel different clunky and weird watch replays see how ur trying to defend thats not working maybe ur positioning or ur not looking the way they feet is directed sometimes focus on the players body while still be aware of other players on the pitch

Player switching is horrible full stop regardless of which way you do it. Its actually comical that it's classed as an Esport anymore due to the amount of scripting in the game. The game itself overrides so much of the player inputs it's a farce. The Ai has zero defense/attack logic , Send a player on a run and they still run in straight line and offside every time ( again zero logic ) , Keepers never drop a ball from a corner , long ball passes only work if player has the trait , Finesse shots are terrible. I could go on but no point. The game is so far gone that it's never gonna be fixable because it was designed to be broken.

You go always quick over al your information bro L2 R2 oke that techniek i do it wel. Holding possition also oke Just what sometimes work, sometimes no work : L2 R2 techniek. I don't know what's the time you put form R1 R2 to R1 and back. The moment that you do stap by stap it's sometimes wrong by my. When it work it's like in your video i go step before my opponent. Also in heading work it wel(Defending) Sometimes when no work im on Swimming on the field. You understanding? You talk also fast by Moments. I learning everyday more en more and i have 1 goal. And have 100% motivation. (Sorry for bad English) Exactly there is 4/5 techniek for defending and that's just my issue when play when. What moment put you R2 on R1 off and back. That's just the key for defending and i waiting now 2 year for 100/100 video that wil help(on all the chanels) EA24 you make 1 video 5 Parts of technic defending. That was the best video ever. Shit things about the game, Ref cam shit! Passing shit! Defending shit! Tactics made for pro players not casual players, can’t use Soccer Aid in personal made tournaments, News papers awful, layout not great, commentary the same as last game (use to be nice when they use to talk about specific players). Pace use to be over powered in the last few games but no such thing as pace now can’t tell wtf.
