My Weekend Getting Scuba Certified | Dylan Efron

I've been putting this off because I love free-diving and getting scuba certified always felt like a hassle. I was WRONG. We saw incredible wildlife and had a ton of laughs. In this video, I'll share some of what I learned from the process and take you underwater in the kelp forests of Palos Verdes, CA. ✌🏻

I also had my Open Water Certification a couple of days ago. I had a buddy who keeps wandering around by herself and getting side tracked with other group of divers. Lol. Good thing I was able keep an eye on her. Fortunately, we both passed. Hope to see more of your underwater adventures :)

Once I didn't have enough weights on me, so I was being pushed away by the current. My boyfriend at that time had to drag me with him. He lost so much oxygen, we had to go back up. So scared, but it was a spectacular dive. It literally took our breath away! This video makes me want to dive again.

Nice, still one from my bucket list. But visit philippines we have lots of cool dive spots here. It is also just 2 to 3 hrs from Manila depends where you are located in the metro. Search Anilao Batangas my fav free dive spot.

Wow!! I dont even know how to swim but watching people going under water and those fish swimming by I wish I could do the same. I like to see the beauty under the sea. When I watched vloggers in in the Philippines 🇵🇭 snorkling and vlogging what's under the sea wow, it's breathtaking! I don't know we have that beautiful corals and fishes. I always wondered if the scuba tank's heavy a.f. or not? Have you ever "crossed paths" with sea snakes, sharks, eels, and sting rays whenever you go scuba diving underwater? I always wanted to do scuba diving but I'm scared of sharks and other deadly sea creatures plus.... I'm a pussy underwater hahaha

i just try to remember that most animals only attack when they feel threatened. so if i show them respect and curiosity they’ll do the same! and the tanks are heavy lol it feels awesome once you get it in the water and can’t feel the weight anymore

Keep you snorkel in your pocket. NEVER dive in kelp with a knife on your leg. Looks great (in your mind), but it's quite dangerous. Your knife should be (a) small, blunt and unimpressvie and (b) around your waist, so you can get with either hand.
