Its interesting to think, we know we will miss these things, yet we rarely _really_ take into consideration why. Its difficult to think that we will in fact, be dead, we will cease to exist, we will never receive another sense, or emotion from this reality. And we have no plans, we are sitting here watching youtube videos, thinking about things that - relatively speaking - don't exist, and won't ever exist for us.

I've had a theory that if the big bounce happens, and given the theory of infinite probability, then eventually, every exact particle will line up at the same location and time and create an exact identical universe, including you. This would also give the strange implication that you had already existed an infinite amount of times.

@DurpenHeimer It's funny. I've thought of the same thing before.

Well ur gonna see the after life that’s for sure brother and u don’t have to experience time anymore it’s just ur deeds that u did in this fraction of time that u will take with yourself

@@DurpenHeimerthat's not far fetched at all, if this universe as we know it was to just poof out of existence, and later on a new universe is reborn, the same exact conditions that caused ours to be birthed will have to take place in order for the new universe to be birthed so infact this very comment at this very moment would indeed happen again.

I mean. We will still exist. Just not as a conscience being but back in our prior state of particles flying through space doing other things. Technically we’ll be here for them just not in the cool way lol

It's crazy to me that the existential questions I have u also have and mention at the end of the video. I hope being dead doesn't suck is basically all I feel in terms of the afterlife and I try to be a good person and pursue my own sanity

3:10 If I’m not totally wrong I think that this IS actually the same spot which they pictured or at least tried to recreate or implement in the CoD4 mission. I‘ve done a tour in Pripyat 3 years ago which totally reminded me of the mission. This exact Ferris wheel and the amusement park (with the autoscooter) and even more buildings were pictured in this mission. Not quite sure if the placement itself on the map was accurate but it is supposed to be picturing this exact same spot. Good content though, keep up the good work! Greetings from Germany.

I watched a video about the Milky Way/Andromeda collision and the host stated that it was highly unlikely that any stars from either galaxy would actually collide. The host stated that the distances between stars are so great that any actual collisions probably wouldn't happen.

I want to also be around to find simple or intelligent life. Also all the technology I'm going to miss... I agree with all of your points at the end, traveling to another start system, outside of our galaxy... What's outside of the universe and why are we here? how are we here? How are we conscious.

8:00 it's interesting to see VSauce putting forth an accepted conclusion to his current day science's best estimations, just for the core idea to be disproven years later. It highlights that no matter how good your educational content is, it will become obsolete at least to an extent, and will need to be replaced by new stuff. Hopefully we have many new VSauce videos ahead of us.

The megallanic clouds are dwarf galaxies. Also there are many many dwarf galaxies around the Milky Way. You said it like the clouds are legit galaxies and are the only ones. The moon will not drift back to earth. What do you mean photons don’t experience time or distance? They aren’t conscious. They don’t experience anything. But they do TRAVEL as TIME passes. We do calculations to find where a photon went and how long it took….

I don't see humans letting the moon get THAT far away. We could put boosters on it to make her stop moving away or come closer and stop at a good distance. And we might set it spinning to a higher gravity at the same time.

Can you publish or share a whitepaper or similar behind the mathematics of "quantum-proof" network cryptography? The website is very sparse on details. I heard you mention "things that will bum you out to miss". What bums ME out though, are the things your generation has ALREADY missed. Here's a short list... 1: The PRE internet era (and the VALUE of direct communication that came with it)... 2: Halley's comet... 3: The fall of the Berlin wall... 4: Burning CD's... 5: Nintendo's conception (and it's EARLY years)... 6: PRACTICAL special effects in Hollywood movies... 7: The Reagan years... 8: The (common) use of maps, compasses, and "the yellow pages" (as opposed to GPS, Siri, and Google search)... I think (most days) that "we're doomed", as I scroll through the TikTok and KZbin shorts during my work break, and see the idiocracy that comes with it. But luckily,, there's also the smarter ones of your generation that actually have some COMMON SENSE to go along with it (like you), and THAT gives me a little hope. Great video btw!👍
