Surprisingly ainz isnt the villan, he is the master of an orginisation that can whipe the world, and he tries to aim them peacefully to world domination. ofc he still has to kill, but he takes the route of least bloodshed. As a gamer myself who played MMORPG’s this anime made me think on how it would feel to be left alone without your only friends who had been with you since you first entered the gaming world. I had met my only friends when I was 13 years of age, 7 years later we are still very close and we know pretty much all there is to know about each other. If I was left alone like Ainz I would turn very nihilist since that’s how I am already but with no one to confine in I would destroy the world until there is nothing left. It would be empty like me. My friends mean the world to me, there is only 3 of them but those three are more then I could ask for, they had seen the vicious little monster I was as a child and they stuck with me, they know of all the cruel things I had done, to all the pains I had suffered and I would destroy the world or save it for them. When I was at school many kids would say shit to me but it never even bothered me, they’d do all they could verbally and emotionally to invoke a reaction out of me, however they’d never get one because it never bothered me… one day however one of them overheard me speak fondly of my best friend Ed, later that day he slated him; as soon as that happened I went into a blind rage lunged at the kid and repeatedly punched him in his face, after my hands started to go numb from the punching I then slammed his head a few times into the floor. I then got of him and went to clean myself up, the kid went to hospital for a while and was put into an induced coma, the police had took me and did all their interviews but since I went to a school for those who are pretty much psychos and those with mental health they let me go after having my doctors increase my medication. After that no one even looked at me or ever tried to chat shit about my only friends. That kid was kinda mentally fucked after that even more so then before but he got moved from the school because he was so scared to come in.
