Good to know that if I am ever up that way permanently, I would need a galvanized dump trailer. Thankfully, we are not in need of that around here. Cool to see this process going!

For just firewood, I have added a cylinder and arm to my forks to grab the load and hold it it's not really a grapple but works like one and lets me get under a full load of logs and hold on, Then when bucking on them I can cut everything down to the last round around the arm and forks. I really like that concept for working firewood logs. The arm will retract up and out of the way for using the forks to move totes etc but really nice for log moving.

Sounds similar to the Claw which I do like but I am looking for something a little more multi purpose. I’ve often considered the Claw or grapple pallet forks.
@DaleFarrish-DalbetКүн бұрын
Install a third fork on that and you will have an even better set up to cut your rounds. That way the last cut stays on the extra fork while you cut it.

Good video, enjoy watching the Dyna work. It is easier if there are 2 or 3 people working. 1 operating the Dyna, 1 keeping the wood clear from the wedge and 1 on the tractor to keep the live deck loaded. It makes the wood fly!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Heath,just as long as the customers know that they can’t burn it now that it’s going to have to season before they do also about what kind of grapple how about the frost bite one that Chris in the wood yard uses 😮😊❤

I pay $100-110 per cord of firewood logs. My log supplier subtracts cord log volume for hollow, rotted, and crooked logs. Do kog suppliers around you do that?
