classic yellow colours and lines, nice! I do like the blue and yellow colour combo on the PT-17 too, and this model seems to move along very nicely in the air.

Yeah, it's enough. It's one of the first Dynam planes where I didn't want to either add prop or voltage. The blue/yellow scheme does look good. I was hoping for that one, but I like yellow too.

That wing camera is a little Runcam2. I've had that camera for quite a while. It's been a good little camera.

The collective wind tolerances shifting through the bilateral side drafts can create auspicious landing characteristics..... but it might just be the stiff gear!! 😂🤣lol. Nice video review of the Pt-17. You can count on Dynam to make new model biplane. Hope they make more. AirHammer out!!

Funny stuff. I like the way you scientifically dissect PERCEIVED failures of perfect landings and assess the blame to the airframe. My kind of thinking! They did a nice job with this PT-17. I'm very happy with it. No complaints really.

I was about to maiden my PT-17 when I noticed Blenderm rudder "hinge" had come loose in my hot garage. I installed two pinned nylon hinges. It's usual to drag a wing tip during landings due to the tall landing gear, might be good to install a "skid plate" of some kind at bottom rear of wings

Lol, it's hard to resist this baby. It's a really solid plane for just relaxing and tooling around. Decent sport capabilities but it's a gentle flier.

I thought you would have used a higher aileron rate, than do in the Waco. About 20%. I would remove or shorten a spring from each of the two tail wires. I don’t think they need a spring on both ends, having them flop around would bother me. The pilot should be in the rear 😁

I think on high it's about the extent of servo travel. I thought about taking a spring out but honestly those little plastic connectors are *tiny* so I don't think they were meant to have any real tension. I'll try it to see, but the plane flew twice and they're still on there. I can't win with the pilot :)

2:28... Just remove one of the 2 springs to tighten up the brace on each side.

I thought about that, but I thought that would make it too tight. The plastic holding this springs is REALLY thin. I'll try it and see what happens.

That sounds about right. You screw the wings on and attach the wires/support struts and after that you setup your radio. There's not much to this one.

@@RCVideoReviews I noticed your nav lights blinked and on another video they do not. Is there an internal switch to go back and forth? Is the pilot considered 1/6th? Do you know what brand he is?

if that was a Super Steerman with upper wing aileron surfaces id buy it. the Dynam Waco seems to manuver aliitle better too me and on mine i switched to a 12x8 nylon master air screw and its much much faster
