The day the youth of India aspire to become someone like Toby or any of the talented engineers/mechanics/electricians at DynaTech instead of IAS-IPS-activist, I'll know that my country is headed in the right direction. Btw, I hope DynaTech invites local high-school kids to visit their facility. The fire of problem-solving spreads on its own, all we need to do is create the sparks. PTC industries, Dynamatics technologies, Azad engineering, L&T, Bharat Forge, Adani defence, DG propulsion, SSS defence, etc etc etc are great companies doing wonders in defence industry.

Adani defence is a baniya company. Not much R&D. They cant be mentioned in the same sentence as others who put their sweat and blood and come up with indigenous products.

@prashanthb6521 do more research, they have put in the work and investments in the ammunitions sector. Look at their ammunition and missile manufacturing complex at UP. Ofcourse I agree that it is not as rigorous and intensive as companies like PTC, Dynamatics, etc, but it's still good enough. I agree that given the amount of money they have, they could have made more acquisitions of foreign companies such as the one that was recently acquired by china who manufactures drone engines.

Everybody you mentioned are engineers. Only one guy among them is a commission baniya. You only understand after this.

Many people who are from outside Bangalore only think the city is known for just its IT industry but we have many innovative local companies in the aerospace industry other than Hal, ISRO and Dynamatic technologies like Aequs, Alpha systems, Maini, New space and many more who are suppliers to Airbus ,Boeing and also supply to the likes of HAL and ISRO . They are also building innovative solutions for indigenous use locally. The city also has engineering centres from the aerospace sector like Boeing, Airbus, Rolls-Royce, collins, Pratt and Whitney, GE etc doing research and development. There are many ignorant people on social media ranting that Bangalore is only known for its IT industry but they need to realise that we are more than just it because before IT became popular people still used to work in many of the most famous PSU's that all originated from here from your Hal's, BEL,BEML,BHEL,ISRO,ITI etc

Indian young entrepreneurs can handle the public companies like HAL and DRDO better so govt should hand over those to these young minds who can deliver within budget and on time as they are not delivering anything tangible.

What is shocking is that here we have an Indian private company with engineering talent and finance to produce for airbus, Bell etc by competing with foreign parts suppliers and doing it all successfully while we also have the totally unsuccessful, ever postponing, never able to produce in quantity or quality PSU called HAL. What does that tell you? It is the baffoons who are running HAL, not talented Indians. What are we waiting for? Dismantle HAL and give it to the private players.
