The prime moonshine and the hybrid culprit are two different animals in my opinion. The hybrid is domey and doesn’t handle torque very well. Now the prime moonshine flies just like a lucid-x suspect! I’ve thrown the recent special run of suspects and am not completely sold on them. I’ll take several more of the prime moonshine culprits before the others.

The dome on the hybrid was a bit of a bummer, but I’ve found them to be very useful. I’ve been able to intentionally flex them and rely on the fade. I can’t say I’ve thrown them hard enough to worry about torque, I may have to try that.

Nice video. Was so confused at first because I got this mixed up with the Caltrop. Apparently this does not have the thumbtrack and no bead either. Looks very promising indeed, because I throw Suspects for the exact reason you mentioned in your video, the lower profile and how that works better for forehands.

Yeah, definitely different than a Caltrop. It will feel a little deeper than your Suspects, but it still works for me depth wise. I hope you feel the same!

Side by side comparison with an Anvil?

It isn’t as fast. Anvil/Justice are a step up in speed on the Culprit. It is more relatable to Harp/Slammer. Maybe a touch faster, but not as fast as a suspect.

I'm really excited about it. but haven't had a chance to throw my prototype much yet(yeah ranger tier!) I always preferred the suspect over the harp (and anvil over justice) for the shallower depth. I can see slotting this between my suspect and anvil. only trick is the SB slammer seems to be very similar.

This disc looks a lot like a verdict. I this just a verdict with a microbead?

It doesn’t have as wide of a rim as the Verdict. This is definitely an approach disc.

Suspect is OOP so why compare to it, most newer players don’t have or bag a suspect.. How does it compare to a Verdict ?!

I compared it to a Suspect because it had been described as a more overstable suspect. It also fits rim height between a harp and suspect, so I figured those two were good wing/flight comparisons. Verdicts are midranges, this will act like an approach disc, so slower, and maybe more OS than stock Verdicts. Definitely more similar to Harp, Sinus, Slammer style of disc.
