realloc() doesn't only work on arrays, any memory allocated using malloc() or calloc() can be resized using realloc()

yes...memory can be allocated for integer,character and float value too by using malloc() and calloc()

As someone who prefers Java that suddenly has to build their own assembler in C, these videos are so helpful. My only question is, I thought that type casting with Malloc is bad in C, and only necessary in C++. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

I have a question: When I make the total bytes in Malloc smaller by purpose, there is no error and nothing is missing. Is that normal?

All the data doesn't get allocated. So it is an error But it doesn't show. Don't do that. Just use the sizeof operator to find its size.
