I am 64 and love these types of videos. I loved watching this. I do not understand A why this has not got thousonds of views. B it never showed up in my many many searches for Diy mics. I just happened to stumble onto this. I bet if you made a little parts and the board kit, you would sell them if people knew about it. Great vid. Keep up the good work Sir. May you live long and prosper.

Thank you very much for the positive comment! I started this channel only a few months ago and perhaps my choice of keywords has made searching difficult in the sea of other channels. I will take a look into that.

About the mic distance thing, that's only a matter of the capsule polar pattern, not whether it's dynamic or condenser type. All mics benefit from being closer because you're raising the SNR, but a more focused polar pattern aimed directly at your mouth gets more signal per distance.

Wow! Works great with the Dynamic mic! ! Sounds perfekt! Like the audio in higher frekvens register! A Shure SM58 is a hard mic to get great sound of! It has a very low output signal! 😎🤘

Very Nice 👌 Sir. A good piece of information of mic preamp you have passed on to all the viewers. Looking forward for your knowledge and experience to share. Do make a High Gain a Studio Line preamp. Thank you.

Thank you, I will make the same mic preamp for my lm3886 +TDA7294 sound system, as my mother asked me to add mic with this

HI...This pre amp is cool,actually I use it without the first transistor. But,I have a question? Why didn´t you go for an BC549/550 that´s a pre amp transistor with more gain an less noise?
@levelupeelab Жыл бұрын
I just used the parts that I had handy. For sure, other transistors, especially lower noise ones with similar characteristics, would likely work too.

How about a like to the gerber files, (if you made 1)? Also, where did you get the tin plating solution?
@levelupeelab2 жыл бұрын
I'm looking into making gerbers available for my projects, not ready to launch yet. The tin solution is made by MG chemicals, many online sources have it.

thank you very much for these videos but can i use an electret capsule with this. i have one of those which sounds quite nice but directly connecting to my pc pre amp cant seem to drive it very well. very high noise floor. i really want to see a simple electret pre amp build since there are non on youtube. sir please help. im a broke acoustic guitar player. something like this would really help.
@levelupeelab2 жыл бұрын
I don't think an electret mic would work, as it needs a DC bias voltage and the 100uF input cap would block any DC bias.

Sir, the circuit design link is broken. As a layman, I really need to be guided by a diagram. How do I get access to the project? Thank you very much.

Good video but ruined by putting music over your voice ... Music just isn't needed in a " Narration video " ... 👍👍👍👍
