What I'm about to say has nothing to do with this scooter as a whole, but rather the "kickstarter" company which is pretending to have invented it. A quick search online will reveal that this very design (right down to the charging cable, box, AND manual it comes with) are all an existing scooter that's been for sale in china for over 3 years now. This makes me sad, as I feel the kickstarter is a scam and they are only selling you those scooters and pretending to be in development. but it is the exact same scooter that they are marking up an extra $200. Retail is supposed to be about $250. USD

They did kind of dropship the X6 scooter, but what they also did is they added taller handlebars and honeycomb solid tires instead of just fully solid tires that all the other X6 models have. Had I purchased the X6 scooter instead of the Model B, the handlebars would be WAY too short for me, and rides would feel a lot more bumpy. So yeah, they took the X6 scooter design and tried to make a slightly better version of it.

@@dr.eduardo2183 The taller handlebars are definitely a deal breaker for me. that kills the entire point of the scooter imo. (from fitting within a space to not fitting anymore)

Can you do a review of it up a hill? Also how is the height for your height? Are they going to update the led display for safety? Many thanks
@reedanimated6 ай бұрын
It does okay up a slight incline, but up a larger hill, it really slows down to like 3-5 mph, and I have to kick a few times. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 195 pounds, (209 pounds with backpack holding 3 spare batteries and a bike helmet) (the lighter you weigh, the faster you'll go and longer range you'll get). Adjusting the handlebars to the highest position puts it in a perfect position where it's easy for me to reach and operate everything comfortably. As for the led display, I don't think they'll update it anytime soon. Maybe they will on future models.

How dose the ride feels on sidewalks? Dose the honeycomb tires help in reducing noise because of riding on uneven surface like the sidewalks?
@reedanimated6 ай бұрын
The ride feels okay on sidewalks. The honeycomb tires just barely help in reducing noise. The bumps will still be noticeable every time you go over the lines/cuts in the sidewalk.
@firask33846 ай бұрын
@reedanimated as long as noise is resuced that's fine, i can imagine the sound that comes when the wheels go over the lines and cuts of the sidewalks. Is that too loud from your experience?
@reedanimated6 ай бұрын
It's a little too loud in my experience. In order to get the longest use out of the solid tires before having to replace them, I would primarily ride it on smooth roads or bike paths where there are no lines, cuts, or bumps.

Please update your video, the final product Dynamic Scooter is shipping is a different size than the one they are advertising and the same you reviewed. I got mine on February 20, 2024. The folded size on the one they are shipping to customers is 812 mm, the one you posted here and the one on their website is the prototype model with is 675mm. I believe people should know the truth about what they will be getting. One more thing, I ordered directly from their website and ordered an extra battery which I paid for but I didn't get. I informed Dynamic Scooter of this on the day I received it and have not heard back from them as of today. They don't have a phone number nor chat, just a messaging system and an email address, I tried both but they are so far ignoring me. One more thing...The charger died after using it for 2 weeks. I reached out to Dynamic scooter on 5/1/24 but as expected they never replied.

195 pound, 5'11 guy here and it rides fine for me!

Are you saying this because you're afraid you won't appear masculine riding the scooter or because you're too fat and will snap it in half?

@@dr.eduardo2183 Some comments say there are issues with the charger stopping working or issues with the battery health. Could you please confirm?
@dr.eduardo21832 ай бұрын
@zaincazorla6914 I've used the charging cable 30+ times since I got the scooter in March. It's still working good, I also have 1 battery + 3 spares and all of them seem to be in good health. They all go around 7 miles with my 195 lbs 5'11 self
