Thanks for the video and for the useful information! Are you aware of any way to assign permissions based on dimensions? Our company might need to segregate data visibility for local accountants, so access to the same tables as a regional/group accountant. However, the local accountant should only have access to the records that relate to their company / dimension. We’re trying to avoid having multiple companies set up in business central.

It would be great to do a video on customer/vendor trade-ins on the sales side and on the purchase side. I've searched all over and couldn't find anything on the web. I.e you're a car dealer and your customer is trading in their old car

What is the purpose of the "execute" column when you drill down into the permission sets?

Thank you!! 😊 Is there a easy way to ”hide” the information regarding the financial transactions? If you for example should have permission to register CO but not be able to see the financial transactions in the background? Egen if you use the base permissions already existing in the system, you still get full wiev of the financial part?

Yes, you might need the Easy Security module, since you will have to put the security to the page level.

I do have a question If you are still around , how do I assign permissions to a specific user , isolated to that user and not a group. In other words , I want to grant permissions to that specific user and not a group of users
