How to retrieve distinct temperature values (like distinct sql statement) ? (assuming some row have the same temperature value). Is is possible to use GSI / LSI (or a second table may be ) for that ? I can only achieve it by scanning the whole table and filter results (.distinct() ) once the request is done (which is extremely expensive) ... Is it possible to do it in a more efficient way with GSI / LSI ? Thx

Hey Marcelo! Our DynamoDB team had some insight to share: "In the previous table at 1:55 for example, you had two different devices. In this example, only two of those elements have the Attribute ErrorStatus. If you select in either a GSI or LSI ErrorStatus as the Sort Key, your view will look like the one shown at 2:05. GSI and LSI are sparse, which means you only will populate the items that contain the right Partition and sort key combination. In this case, all the other elements that do not contain the Attribute ErrorStatus will not be present in the Index, giving you the result as shown."
