Good video review! When I'm on vacation, I like to swim for my daily exercise. The rectangular size, the length, and the lines on the pool floor make it one of the few hotel swimming pools in Bangkok that are perfect for lap swimming. I will definitely have to consider this hotel for my next BKK trip.

UPDATE: I stayed at the Dynasty Grande in early May 2024. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation so there is limited room availability. The Dynasty Grande is often described as a four-star. It might have been a four-star many years ago, but it hasn't aged well. The entire hotel needs a MAJOR renovation to stay competitive and to justify charging a four-star room rate. My room, including the bathroom, were spacious. The bed, the A/C, and the Wi-Fi were good. The cable / satellite TV was always on the fritz (basically useless) with only limited English-language channels (no ESPN) when it wasn't on the fritz. The swimming pool is one of the best that I've found in Bangkok for lap swimming. When it's HOT in Bangkok, the pool water is very warm so I prefer swimming in the evening but the hotel closes the pool at 6:00 PM (I might be wrong about the exact closing time, but it closes early) . This was a big disappointment for me. For sunbathing, the swimming pool deck gets good sun exposure throughout the day, i.e., no nearby tall building blocking the sun. The location of the Dynasty Grande is absolutely GREAT if you want to be a few minutes walk to Nana Plaza and the Nana BTS station. Although the hotel is close to the Nana nightlife, you can't hear anything from the nightclubs, bars, traffic, construction, etc. in your room. The Dynasty Grande restaurant is closed so no food service or food room service. If you want breakfast and don't want to walk too far, the next door Citrus hotel has a breakfast buffet. There are several other nearby options for breakfast. The Dynasty Grande might be a four-star AFTER the renovation. Unless you're able to get a deep discount on a room rate, there are many other better hotels nearby.

I dont know how Agoda does it, but sometimes you can get nice rooms for 6 to 10 usd for a night. Also eatigo is a tremendous saver on high quality restaurants. Thanks for this review👍👍

No i have not. An older hotel I know. Reviews are not that great though. That is why I have not stayed there. Dynasty Grande hotel was excellent.

Every month or season its different. Depending on how far in advance u book a room. Can be cheaper in advance. I got a good deal. I paid 58 Canadian dollars a night plus tax so around 70 Canadian dollars

these small hotels don't actually cook the food in the menu, you order and then they passed it on to local restaurants and then replated in the hotel's kitchen.

Beware of this place. For non Thai guests to come to room they demand passport for safe keeping and not local I'd.. Had got hold of a Turkish booty and reached hotel and the staff was adamant that she show her passport! Who de hell carries her passport at all times..weird rules never in any other hotel in Bangkok have I experienced this..checked out and checked in to nearby majestic grande..no issues what so ever!

@@slyman6666 I am assuming you guest was a Thai lady. As i.mentioned it's only for non Thai people ..They are.adamant on passport only for foreign women cos it happened to me. Do correct me if that is changed now..
