Help/Question 1QB (passing tds are 6points) PPR Dynasty 3 Round Rookie Draft. I’m pick 1.05 I have solid young wr depth. I’m solid at TE. I need a good RB and I was solid at QB but my qb is Herbert who’s gonna have a lingering injury this season. My only other qb is Howell who’s 2string…. Not crap on waiver wire lol Do I take Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels at 1.05 to secure my QB position and go for a Lloyd/Wright at rb in 2nd round? Or go Brooks or Benson at 1.05 and wing it at qb hoping that Herbert can tough it out this year? I think your drake maye take discredits the notion that the pats plan for this season is to bring him along slowly. They won't rush him until he's ready with Jacoby, and in all likelihood they'll have a top 5 pick next year to solidify their surround cast. This will be the cheapest you will ever get Maye in dynasty

Why would you not want to play in superflex???? Qb is the most important position in real football yet in 1qb you can wait and waiver wire a qb and be ok makes no sence superflex puts qbs at a premium where they should be. As a real gm qb is the most important spot and dynasty is being a gm

I play a double superflex league and won the last 2 years with late qb and just granbed elite everhwhere else. You dont need to grab 2 or 3 great qbs. I had baker carr and howell last year😂

The best redraft strategy for superflex is picking QB's that have breakout years imo. That's why you did well probably. Baker was QB10 on the year and Howell was very solid first half of the year. I'm sure where you got them at was a great value

Ok.. I admit, I am a homer. However, I think even with the Cam Newton comp there are quite a few issues I see with it. Cam wasn't done with football because he couldn't run. He was done because he literally couldn't throw the ball and had to contort his mechanics because his shoulder got obliterated in 2016 and again in 2018. Josh, while admittedly plays a somewhat similar game, has only really been injured one time and it was a UCL injury. I think at minimum, if he doesn't have a devastating injury to his elbow or his shoulder, he should be mostly inside QB1 range for at least another 5 years. Andy's trade of JA17 for Kyler + a 1st, I'm leery of. If you look, Kyler is small and might be injury prone - even if I like him a lot. Plus you have no idea who the selection will be for that 1st rounder. Likely the team with Josh Allen is going to be a back half of the first. So seems to me like a poor deal unless you hit on that 1st IMO.

The way Cam ran was part of why his shoulder got messed up though. He was putting the pads on people more often than taking the hit himself which Allen is guilty of himself sometimes. I think where they are off though is Josh is a better passer and doesn't HAVE to run as much. He is gonna get 4k passing yards every year Cam did it once... That being said I agree about the trade, your not replacing Josh and id ride it to the wheels fall off with him

@@dustypatterson3180 there's definitely truth to that in that they run similarly. It won't last forever, but there's far more nuance in Josh's overall game. I still think down near the red-zone he can still be a running threat, even if he doesn't run for 500+ yards.

Mike wake up, Allen for Hurts is a great trade cuz Hurts has 2 bonafide WR1s to throw to, whereas Allen doesn't even have 1 unless you believe in Keon Coleman. Hurts is also a baller with running the ball like Allen and will have more scoring potential than Allen in my opinion this season.

In the same boat with Breece bijan and Etn. So I added Gibson earlier in the offseason and then a bunch of waiver rb guys that may not make the roster, Blake Watson, sione vaki, and Isaiah Davis. I’m the defending champ and it’s a 14 team league. Would you still send a 2nd for moss even though I have Gibson? I already know week 12 is going to suck no matter what so I need SOMEBODY but I can add someone off waivers later in the season if necessary. So would miss still be worth a 2nd?

Kickers are completely 100% luck. I get fantasy is a betting game and has luck involved but there is 0 analysis to kickers. Justin Tucker is the best kicker of all time and a lot of the times is not a good fantasy kicker. I despise it.

@@aarondeatherage7678 hard disagree, they are just as easy to predict as defense, and no one is lobbying to get rid of defenses. Not only have I been able to predict good season long kickers, but I can stream weekly, and always get consistent numbers out of my picks. It's actually one way I've managed to win so many chips over the years, is people have that mentality, and just roll out the same kicker every week. I agree, Tucker is not a good fantasy option week to week, but that isn't what you look for. Just like QBs, the best kicker for fantasy week to week isn't the best kicker for the NFL. You look for high powered offenses, dome games, and kickers with long legs. Coaching is also important, as you don't want coaches who go for it on 4th downs too often. Now, if people want to tweak kicker scoring, that I am an advocate for. A 50 yard field goal should not be 5 points, and short yardage misses should absolutely be a negative point. Just because analysts you like are beating the drum to get rid of kickers, doesn't make them right. I love the ballers, and other analysts who hate kickers in fantasy, I just disagree with them. I disagree with them because I have consistently predicted kickers for 10 years straight, even playing in all kicker leagues a couple times.

I have correctly predicted kickers for years, they are easier to predict than defenses. Kicking scoring should be changed, we should not be removing kickers. Kickers that are good for the NFL aren't always good for fantasy, and you should very rarely start the same kicker every week.

If your looking for another Dynasty channel though Destination Devy with RayG (DD fantasy football) is by far my favorite if you don't know them already.
