I never got the point of this battle in DW4 if Guan Yu and Zhang Fei never die in the Shu story. Is this instead just instead, Liu Bei wants to take advantage by taking out Wu sooner rather than later?

Yeah as good as 4 was there are a lot of battles I never really understood in that game... I do think in 7, 8, and 9 everything made more sense to me

Well Liu Bei would probably get angry at Wu for attacking Guan Yu but then again Wu still wants Jing I guess that's a probable reason?
