I simply agree with you mate, now I play Cao Pi increasingly... but my top favorites are Ma Chao's and Ling Tong's. Overall though, the new movesets are just great. Even though this game lacks lots of things, it's still good!

@Bluefoxx3 There are both Japanese and English releases of this game for PS2 (that is, with the decloned movesets + extras). In Japan it's called Special and in the English releases it's just called Dynasty Warriors 6.

Hopefully nobody answered you yet, but whatever. I'm answering for fun!: -No, it's already out in the US/everywhere else -It came out a while ago, probably a few months back. -The special edition's only in PS2, but the new stuff in the special edition's now found in the Empires version, which is out for both 360 and PS3. -They did this now because(probably) they lacked the ideas to start this, and probably did not have enough time/money to do this. -It's not a limited time offer.

Something else I heard, Koei said that they plan to postone the release data for DW6: Empires to improve te game as much as possibe. So whether this means will still get it in February hasn't ben mentioned.

Using Cao Pi in the PS2 version is really fun. It's definitely better than his shortsword. Also, when they gave Zhang He his claws back, he suddenly became very hard to beat, anywhere. (Wu Zhang Plains. *shudder*)

Basically a different version. It's for the PS2. This is a Japanese version of the game, but it's been available in the States for quite sometime. It's 30 dollars in most stores, but some kept it at 60 :[

no orenjidance thats not what his askin. dw6 spec is a ps2 only game for japan and the us (atm). the people u see here have a new move set (so thay are decloned) and have a story mode, thay also have put a few new stages in (i think 5).but thay have taken out the swimming and duling features. of couse the grapics have been cut down a bit and some say its got more lag then wo2's chi bi stage. these move sets will also be used dw6 empires and i think dw strikeforce.

ma chao some remind me of cloud. must be the blond hair and giant sword. yue ying's weapon is kinda like a medieval version of the gunblade that lightning uses in FFXIII.

Looks Like Yue Ying wing from Top to mid. lol. Ma Chao looks decent. Though you missed his name in your description over there. Ling Tong...looks like he's a top tier contender. Cao Pi looks cool...but not as useful as Ling Tong. Taishi Ci...meh. Zhange He is Always cool no matter what tier he's placed. Good stuff though. Though if Koei wasn't so lazy and going backwards, these movesets would've worked wonders on the next gen just cause they can have more enemies on screen at once.

A good reason for why this game is also so hard to make... Koei has made a move to motion capture, so all those moves made are done by real people. And you know, it's so so so hard to please both traditional Romance of the 3 Kingdoms fans and young gamers with this game. Still, they shouldn't take the hard way out and try to be more imaginative. They shouldn't go too realistic :/

Well it's really not "changing" Cao Cao's/Cao Pi's name pronunciation. Tsao Tsao is the real right way to pronounce it, so all those times the VAs said Cao Cao, they said it wrong. They'd wrong to a Chinese speaker. :o
