Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires 『真・三國無双7 Empires』- ALL Events with unlock guide | ムービー・イベント集

Click SHOW MORE below to reveal the big unlock guide, okay not so big because DW7:Empires had 32 something events while this has 19 at most...
So I managed to get all of the events the other day before the Japanese finished their list. While their wiki is plenty helpful I will use my own personal experience unlocking them as well to make sure you get them. (On a sidenote, I learned that based on their voice CAW has different postures in the videos.)
1. Ambition (大志を抱く) - Begin the game as a free officer
2. Founding a country (建国) - Successfully raise an army and form a new kingdom
3. Successor (引退と継承) - Have a ruler step down and select you as a successor. I did this while I was playing Dong Bai as a Marshal and Lu Bu (Ruler) approached me to increase my rank to Ruler by stepping down and retiring. My relation with him was A or above.
4. Confession (告白) - Have S rank with an officer of a different sex, then confess to them (they will also confess to you on their own)
5. Marriage (婚礼) - An option for marriage will appear after a successful confession.
6. Oath Brothers (義兄弟の契り) - S with any officer and then pot smash away!
7. Escape (亡命) - Fail a revolt as a Marshal or betrayal (giving up your territory to another faction) as a governor.
The following events (8 to 13) might only be completed as a vagabond wandering army, to reach the last level in the chain just keep doing the highest level request you are offered. For instance, assassination begins by killing a captain, then a regular officer, then a prefect, and finally marshal / strategist / ruler (The three are in the same catagory as killing a ruler) -
8. The skillful Assassin (凄腕暗殺者) - Complete the Final mission of the assassination request chain to murder a ruler. (君主暗殺)
9. The looter of Chaos (戦乱の略奪者) - Complete the final mission of the thief request chain to steal from the national treasury (国庫潜入)
10. The strongest mercenaries (最強傭兵団) - Complete the final mission of the rescue request chain to rescue a city as a wandering army (都市救援)
11. Pinnacle of Might (武の頂) - Complete the final mission of the hunt request chain to hunt down a vagabond army (放浪軍討伐) with one of the following officers under your command (being them doesn't count) - Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, Pang De, Yu Jin, Gan Ning, Taishi Ci, Lu Meng, Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Xiahou Ba, Wen Yang, Lu Bu, Meng Huo, Lu Lingqi. (張遼・徐晃・龐徳・于禁・甘寧・太史慈・呂蒙・趙雲・関羽・張飛・夏侯覇・文鴦・呂布・孟獲・呂玲綺)
12. Reliable Guardian (信頼おける守人) - Complete the final request of the protection request chain to protect a ruler. (君主護衛)
13. Bandit Chief (山賊頭) - Complete 5 mission each of the following request types. Robbery, thieving, and assassination.
14. Declaration of the final battle (最終戦への決意) - Start a battle that can win you the game.
15. Wealthy country (産業大国) - For me, I built 6 blacksmiths and item shops to unlock this event. It is said that subordinates can get them after certain amount of cities in their faction.
16. The capitalist (資本家) - For me, I achieved this by having 99999 gold right after I established a nation with an evilness rating of 1. I suspect the high gold and evil has to do with this, as this scene involved bribery. Update: I played a second playthrough and got this cutscene again, but the bribery part was cut out. I suspect bribery is only for those of evil 1 and above, otherwise the requirement to get this event seems to be based on how much gold you have amassed.
17. Successful revolution (謀反成功) - Succeed a revolution (I did this as a Marshal)
The last two cutscenes are the ending cutscenes added for completion sake, you will always get these two scenes when you finish a campaign.

It's like KOEI takes one step forward and a few steps back.... The cut scenes and dialogue (especially during battle) were way more satisfying in DW7 Empires The perfect empires game: Take the strategy/governing phases from SW2 Empires The dialogue from DW7 empires The cutscenes from DW5 and DW7 empires The customization from 8 Empires The formation mechanic from SW2 Empires Being able to relocate your allies at specific location pre-battle (SW2 Empires) Bring back dynamic effects during strategy phase (Natural disasters, famine, peasant revolts, disease) When you level up a character in Free mode, or in Empire mode, they should be PERMANENTLY LEVELED UP (unless I reset their stats), Bonus points should only be used to obtain weapons, items, and resources to gain the advantage early on in a new campaign Multiple endings depending on your virtue and position There should be endings if you chose to be a free officer or leader of a Vagabond unit for the entirety of your play through You should be able to customize the outcome of your child instead of random RNG There should be more variety when it comes to Spouse/Child dialogue There should be more variety when it comes to sworn sibling dialogue CAN WE PLEASE GET A HUB WORLD FOR EDIT CHARACTERS TO PARTY UP AND DO MISSIONS TOGETHER ONLINE Bring back classic stratagems from DW5 like Cavalry or Ambush PLEASE Bring back the "betray" option mid battle like in DW6 empires (only redeeming quality of 6) Bring back the skill chart from SW2 please (and not that watered down version in DW8 where you can only pick 4) Am I missing anything?

+Orashi Something that you and others could do is go on the message boards and post all this. Get enough people wanting the same thing, it can scare a game company into thinking the game "might" die. I know right, With dynasty warriors 6 empires I could believe some endings because my officers had interacted with each other like diao chan and Zhen Ji being rivals or that Lu Bu tried to kill my character after he rebelled so many times. With 8, I didn't get no death cutscenes and felt like I really couldn't role play into the roles put out for me. Like couldn't I have an ruler come after me for tormenting their country or an officer have an rivalry with me for beating and destroying several nations they served under. I know that 7 probably didn't have this but I wish that 9 could have this happen with more emphasis on your affect of your actions

+Orashi I think it would be cool if you could establish connections to pre-existing characters. Like if you wanted to create a character that was the child of Zhuge Liang and Yueying or such. A child of Sun Jian would be the sibling of Sun Ce, Quan, and Shangxiang. That sort of thing.

These Vagabond events makes me wish the game has a Vagabond ending to it. It would be a interesting way to experience a DW Empire game where the Vagabond serves as another path to a different endings over the genetic rule china or help someone rule china ending. The usual take over all of China ending is fine but I kinda wish they spice things up a bit with multiple endings. Of course there is going to need a limit to how and when the Vagabond path player obtains a Vagabond ending since they're not attempting to rule all of china but trying to live in it.

Lu Bu Feng Xian Though I also would like to see a Historical Campaign mode in DW Empire game one day as well where your custom character takes part in the actual Historical path of the game as a side character that witness the events or become a factor that leads to a IF Path storyline for the Historical Campaign becoming part of DW History itself through the IF path. Samurai Warriors already combined their main game and Chronicle Mode into one game with Samurai Warriors 4 so I hope DW would one day follow the same. The IF path for DW8 is a intereating thing they added and can be a reason why a custom made character exists in a DW Campaign mode.

Agreed, maybe have a virtue focus (ie bravery/might, evil/cunning, good/compassion, order/militaristic, wealth etc) that can be focused and reached as a free officer/vagabond offering a unique cutscene and, like SW4 empires, offers you the choice to end your game there or continue on (with continuing on either leading to a unique service cutscene to a lord or a unique uprising). Bravery/might could have the PC jumping in to save peasants from bandits with the bandits fleeing in terror because your character strength is rumoured to be on par with Lu Bu or Guan Yu. Cunning be you establishing a bandit gang Compassion could show your character being eagerly approached by villagers/towns people thanking them, asking them to please visit etc to show how well liked they are etc.

I'd like to start off by saying 'thank you'. Playing the American version of the game, this was a big help in me getting all the events and getting the trophy for getting them all. Also, if it matters aught to you, in the English version of the game the names of the 17 cutscenes were localized as... 1. Burning Ambition 2. Building A Nation 3. Succession 4. Confessions 5. I know this video is nearly a decade old.. But I have a problem with DW8Empires.. In Cutscenes/Events, there are no sounds... Only the characters' voices as they speak. Is it because I have my music turned off, and the sounds in the cutscenes/events are for some reason tied to music volume? I honestly haven't tried turning the music back on, because the game's music are quite annoying, and I haven't played the game in a while.. But I still wish to know the cause and the solution to this :/

Late, but just subscribed and wanted to know how does the defeat a vagabond unit work to get the cutscene. I have Taishi Ci in my vagabond unit and all I get is rulers requesting that task, do we have to wait until Taishi Ci gives me the quest.

Max Lanada these cutscenes are the major ones i guess, because if you do the defend the treasury quest there is a cutscene with your player returning to the treasury to defend it, then their is the one with the rescue mission to save the city.....not the one after the mission but before it, but they are shorter cutscenes, even when you add those in its still less I believe.(sorry or the lateness)

It's under politics, 3rd tab on the main monthly menu, it's a 4 letter word that doesn't cost anything until you select it. Then it will open up a small menu with all the buildings you can build.

It only took me three walkthroughs to complete all events. Kinda disappointed this game have fewer scenes them the last one. The death scenes from important characters, the confrontations against amazing Warriors, even the multiple type endings. Now is pretty much straight-forward, it doesn’t change a lot when I play for a second or third time, I guess you can achieve every cutscene in one playthrough.

Khôi Nguyên Try it, you can watch it in the Galleries and choose Events, there is events collection, but only in Galleries you can play it and change character what you want, like confess same sex but not in Empire Mode...

Lu Bu Feng Xian I loved your Han Emperor created character. Very cool and a very cool idea I almost want to do it myself but I can't bring myself to play as someone like that. I just have the one guy I made and change his outfit each playthrough to demonstrate his growth as a person over the years and I dont even force my family to join me but I suspect in my final playthrough I will try to get them as my entire force. for some reason I only give birth to girls, and one guys. Has anyone else had problems with the new borns being absolutely awful? My first son was born with 0 attack but max health and nearly maxed defense. And I had a girl who was diao chans daughter, she ended up having a defense of 0 but really high everything else. I suspect its because by the time they were born, I was over level 50, so when they were born, they were set 10 levels below me, and thus had stats over 1000 which was reset to 0. But when you start a new play through with them, no such bugs exist and they play just fine. So I keep the original lore and saw that they were born disabled lol. So I don't use them. plus diao chans daughter looks like shes skin and bones and just would have no chance in a fight realistically anyway. It's too bad because my son was born with Ogre Armor so he looked like a true badass.

Tri Disaster Well in the beginning they ask you to hunt tigers and such right? That leads to missions that have you go after bandits and eventually wandering armies

If you're a ruler you can legit threaten every territory, that's how I got max resources and beat the game without even having to fight

+cabosei vankass four months late but, The Japanese versions of the games don't actually count Dynasty Warriors 1 as a Dynasty Warriors game, and that was titled something else. Dynasty warriors was marketed as... well Dynasty Warriors originally for American audiences. So to compare, 2 for us is 1 for them, 3 is 2, 4 is 3, etc. So DW7 in Japan is DW8 here.
