I like how they reverted to the happier ending where one kingdom has conquered the entire land. It's a fresh aspect into looking at it even though I did like how the previous game favored the chronological timeline.

Cao Caos death was done so well in 7, I didn't think they could make a better ending with 8. I was wrong. Having Cao Cao give an utterly chilling yet uplifting speech with him and his bros riding off into the distance was too much for words.

Around 210-215 he controlled all but one of the commanderies conquered to Cao Cao after the Battle of Chi Bi. But he wasn't an official governor or anything, Sun Quan "lend" Jing Province to Liu Bei (because he didn't had lands of his own to establish a base), under the agreement that Jing would be given back after Liu Bei got lands of his own. But even after he conquered Yi Province, Liu Bei refused to give back Jing, and Lu Su attacked and took back some of it.

Cao Cao served under Emperor Xian and later move up to Prime Minister. He died before Cao Wei Dynasty was established.

for PS4 & XBOX ONE, I hope they'll make a whole new level. Like going to War, characters will wear armors, for home walkin' through village or Empire they are wearing uniform clothes...or farmer's clothes doing the farm. Winter, Summer, Spring, Fall have different kind of style of armors for characters! & have Story-mode, you get to choose rather the Main Character lives or dies, to proceed the next movie! It's seem we all know the story so well in DYNASTY 8 series! Time for new directions!

Xu Shu was forced to join Wei during Liu Bei's escape from Cao Cao because Wei took his mother for ransom. Therefore, by that year, he served under Cao Cao but did his best not to be of any use to him due to his loyalty to Liu bei

Cao Cao's father Cao Song was adopted into the Cao family. It's said that Cao Song was originally a Xiahou, that's where the relation between Cao Cao and the Xiahous comes. Xiahou Dun's father and Xiahou Yuan's father were brothers, so they're cousins. What exactly the relation between Cao Cao and the two Xiahous was is unknown, it's not even 100% sure if they were related at all. There are some debates because of things like Cao Cao marrying his daughter to Xiahou Dun's son Xiahou Mao and such.

He had to change his name, that's how it works when you get adopted. ;) Same with Liu Bei's son Liu Feng, who was previously named Kou Feng (although he was related to the Liu clan). But as I said, it's not 100% sure that Cao Song was a Xiahou, but it seems generally accepted.

Except that was fictious. In truth the invasion of Jing in 208/09 was a joint campaign by Sun Quan and Liu Bei, and it was the Sun Army that did most of the heavy battle. After they conquered Jiangling Sun Quan "lent" part of Jing province to Liu Bei so that he could have a homebase to build up his power.

While the novel antagonizes him, there's no doubts that he does attempt to right things. Granted in the novel, he prioritizes is generals a lot. Historically speaking, I'm not entirely sure... I would assume the Three Kingdoms historically that the three rulers share roughly the same traits

The same ending again from the past. Riding off into the distance after ending the chaos,because he doesn't want people to worship him and want them to lead themselves.After reforming the empire to be base on talent/ability instead of the station/wealth from your birth. Good Luck- Tried talking about the real Lu Bu on two forum that is suppose to be filled with knowledgeable people of the real history. Turns out 7-9 out of 10 post come from someone who only knows the novel.
