I had cousins who lived states away from me so I only got to visit them once a year if I was lucky and we’d spend my entire week visit playing this. This game was my first introduction into Gundam ever. I can recite so many lines and I can only hear the English dub on the Wing and G Gundam characters. I am so grateful you have this video out so I can remember a childhood memory that is given form and don’t need to just let it fade away as I get older

Phynx I just bought it in Gamestop for 5 bucks today. Though I don't know if DW Gundam 2 or Gundam Reborn would have been a better buy since I didn't play any of them.

In my opinion this is the best however that may be nostalgia talking as its the first game I played of the series. Still great games, this ones just my personal favourite

I remember playing this at a mates house on the Xbox 360 when i was a kid never played any other dynasty games but this was pretty fun game. Sucks its not on pc

This was one of my favourite missions because the teammates don't die, but I always choose the field that Master Asia was at (for the Allied Position) lol

Yea I wish they'd remaster these as well, or even continue the series and bring back the english dubs. I'd love to hear the full cast from the anime return and do their characters in one of the games :D.

unoder, every year I watch this video, and I love it! ! ! ! , very good gameplay by the way, every year I play Dynasty Warrior Gundam again (for me it's the best of the 4 Dynasty Warrior Gundam video games), and I love playing this game! ! ! ! ! , for me the last Heroes mission and one of the best levels I have done, the first time I had done this mission I was super stressed by the fact that we had to defend the ally point if not the mission was lost (it reminds me of mission 3 of Heroes in the Abandoned Ruins) and the fact that there are a lot of enemies and a lot of bosses to face, I had to fail this mission several times, and you video your video helped me a lot to finish the level, precisely thanks to your technique i managed to finish the levels and beat master asia and millardos, thank you very much! ! ! ! :), one thing that I like about this level is that we face new bosses that we had already faced before, another thing that I like about this level is the victory conditions and defeat, it is so cool this levels! ! ! , the first time I beat Millardos at the last level I believed that the Heroes mode was over, and suddenly there is a cinematic and there I see that in the final the real victory condition is is to beat Master Asia, and I beat them! and I love the end cinematic with Heroes and Master Asia, I want a remastered version of the first Dynasty Warrior Gundam, this game is so good, even graphically it is beautiful (for me), the music is cool, decorates them, the action, the characters, I love everything about this game! ! ! ! ! and it is thanks to this game that I started to watch the Gundam anime and since then I have been fans of Gundam! ! ! ! the game is cool to play solo or with 2 players, I really like the game mods (official mod and original mode), my favorite is the original mode! ! ! ! and I really like MUSHA GUNDAM! ! ! ! (in the Japanese version of Dynasty Warrior Gundam on PS2 we can play MUSHA GUNDAM and MUSHA GUNDAM MK2 in the original mode) (sorry for the long comment)

Thanks for the wonderful comment I'm really happy that you enjoy the video and were able to use it too complete the mission. The story in this game is my favorite for sure of the entire series, each character is handled faithfully and the plot is really engaging, and even though the game is more than ten years old now I agree that the graphics still look wonderful! I think Gundam is a fantastic series and it's cool you were able to use these games as a gateway into it, Gundam Wing were the first series I watched and I really enjoyed both of them I recommend them if you haven't seen them. I just saw the Musha Gundam now and hey I really like it's design and it's really well detailed, that must be fun to play with!

It's available for the PS3/Xbox 360, as for where or how to get it these days unfortunately I couldn't tell you. Maybe somewhere like ebay, or kijiji? Hopefully they remaster this series someday and bring it to modern consoles.

No, DWG2 is better. DWG3 has cramped maps and you can finish the game in a week. but Reborn is cool too

That gameplay is nice that suit looks like it would've been fun to play with, the melee combat kind of reminds of the mainline dynasty warriors games with the spear & sword. Anyway thanks for the recommendation! It's been too long since I've watched a Gundam series so I'll check out RE: Rise at some point, it'll be nice to see more modern animation & HD visuals because all the Gundam TV Shows I've seen are quite old. That art is impressive, if I had to choose a favorite it would be the 4th & my least favorite would be the 5th. As for my opinion on fanarts I rarely look at them but I am very impressed when I see someone can bring to life the character in the same way a professional can.
