Interested in what you are using for a pump and pressure controller on your dyno. Is that just a needle valve you are running in and out with the wrench.? I like your videos, keep it up homie.

Yea just using the needle valve to control the pressure. It came with a "knob" but it was hard to open under pressure. Took it off and that 8mm wrench fit perfectly, I'm going to use the wrench until I replace the valve with one I can control with an Arduino. Pump is just a standard Hydraulic pump, if I remember it was rated at 5000 PSI and 4000 RPM max.

I was looking forward to this, any chance you know ethanol content of your fuel, 10%? Thanks for sharing

Sunoco 91, not sure on the ethanol content.

Do these engines just have a tendency to have frequent valve sealing issues?
@tylermanthei54445 ай бұрын
In my experience yes. Iv raced lo206 for a couple seasons and valve leaks seems to be the most common area of engine power loss. Out of the box the valves can be so awful that it’s always worthwhile to have them touched. At the very least do a leak down test often.

I 100% agree with Tyler on this. Turn the engine off and forget to wind the engine over to TDC and you can consider your valves bent.

@@robbinsracing801 how do you set it to tdc right after shutting it off without pulling the plug?
@robbinsracing8015 ай бұрын
@@cromanyak5999 Slowly pull the recoil starter to rotate the crank. There will be a point where the starter gets tight, that is compression putting resistance on the starter. At that point you want to stop pulling the starter.
