Oh dear,makes me never want to look underneath mine😅. Good job tho,and something I will consider doing this summer I just dread to see what I will find.

Yeah my rear suspension spring just fell out of the body because the spring support point just rusted away. While I was doing this repair I noticed the shock had gone through the body into the boot and also my spare wheel well had a swimming pool in it. I thought to myself well this is fucking nice. Didn't know I was gonna spend this weekend welding and doing rust repairs. The FN2 is fun as hell but I've spent about 4000 on repairs in a year, luckily my insurance paid for half of that. FML.

Defo feel your pain Cap, when I bought mine wasn't the cleanest underneath but after a new plate welded in and fully sealed, it's all good again. Next is brake calipers getting rebuilt due to them sticking. Really want it mapped so might have to book to travel over and see you guys. Keep up the good work.

I feel his pain. Went in for an underseal. Then rich jammed his finger through my sill.... New sills completed and happy... The joys of Honda ownership 😁

Your lucky it was your car he jammed his finger thru and not you! Those fingers are powerful

Around £400 plus materials usually about £50

Out of curiosity, how much does a new rear beam cost ? I'm thinking about buying an fn2, so trying to weigh up how much money I'll need to do all these likely things.
@cirian75 Жыл бұрын
about a grand, plus swapping parts and fitting.

Here I am thinking that Captain America got a shield, that he could smelt down for his F(lintstone)N2 extra holes? 😁 Great video and good ideas for others, as always. You hardly ever take look underneath a car and most of the time, you forget about it.
