Any clutching tips for 2 stroke turbo?

yes add more helix and weight to get proper rpms if you just add weight to primary back shift and spin conditions will be lazy

My sled is stock no changes to the the clutching , but my peak rpm is 8250 but now it’s only 7700 why does it not peak

U should probably get into in one of these clutching videos, if u do do clutching, weights,springs , helix, drop gearing just saying 1.61 to 1.73 , if all is working and feels good but cause u dropped down a tad in gear and its running out of top end speed, what way to go with secondary spring and why. I think a lot of guys get confused of the whole lower ratio and think the sled is gonna be slower on top end. Maybe a couple mph, but not 15-20 with right combo. Just a thought. I chased this issue for a little bit till a buddy helped me figure it out

You are correct the only reason to gear way down is clay starting lines with great bite where you can get belt slippage. The clutches are more efficent is they do not shift out all the way.

@@dynoport9251 I think a lot of people dont get that when they aren't getting good traction, I think alot of guys forget about slip and try to clutch for 100% traction, 98% of guys trail riding aren't studding that heavy

I have a stock m7, if I go from the stock straight 36 helix to a 36/46 and put a little bit stiffer spring in would it have better acceleration or worse? I'm at 1800ft and mostly ride flat land.
@dynoport92514 жыл бұрын
The stock 36 is good the only thing you would want to try for dragging or quicker acceleration is probably 2 dgrees more on the start so a 38-36 would be good to try. The 46 last # would lose a lot of rpms on top and if you are studded go to a primary spring that is 20-40 range higher on the first spring #.
