Be it a bone or a broken staff,
Crush hopes, make a shell of a man.
Cut down to the scars on our knees,
I see you traitor!
Bound wounds packed with salt and clay,
Drown in ash to take the taste away,
Forged, crushed, forced to kneel,
Torn nerves replaced with twisted steel.
Another throne, our broken path,
Lead her steady, hold her fast,
Steeds track through the crimson waves,
Guided by the blade,
She’s nervous, trapped behind the lines,
Of fear and filth and butchered lives,
A trigger in the hands of minds,
Too young for graves to bind.
Divide the weak, spread suffering, dismay,
Be steady, hold all our restraint.
A storm of swords will rain upon the backs of broken men,
For us they pray, scattered in the aftermath.
Another bridge won’t save the trust we stripped from our first born,
This will won’t break, as iron strengthens iron.
Before dawn breaks the night we push on through the fog.
A place where cowards thrive and good men die like dogs.
Bite the tongue until you can’t ignore,
Blood in the mouth beats blood on the floor,
Weed out the weak to keep the bloodline pure,
Claw the lungs until they breathe no more.
A chalice held toward the sun to appease the hands that bind,
Our collective inner toil, spill poison on the mind.
We’re strengthened by iron, reduced to tears by pen,
I throw my hands deep into filth to find myself again.
Divide the weak, spread suffering, dismay,
Be steady, hold all our restraint.
Prepare yourselves!
For a storm of swords to rain upon the backs of men,
For us they pray, scattered in the aftermath.
Another bridge won’t save the trust we stripped from our first born,
This will won’t break, as iron strengthens iron.

@abce4273
@abce4273 5 жыл бұрын
@@warlordofvideogameglitches: The enemy they reference is NOT, in any sense, "fictional". The ONLY reason it is as large, imperious, & eugenicist as it is would be BECAUSE people like YOU could never conceptualize/envision how any "government" can EASILY become a tyrannical beast, IF they remained unchecked, unchallenged, & undeterred. Somehow, you managed to gloss over a little something called "history". Past precedence has more than been established for government dominion. The bootlicking statist FOLLOWERS have brought about the pending & apocalyptic armageddon we are racing headlong towards. Absolutely EVERYTHING is at stake. e.g. very recently, in Washington D.C., the criminal legislators put into place FEDERAL, "MANDATORY" vaccinations ... regardless of previous medical concerns, religious guidelines, morality, philosophical stances, etc. Agenda 2020 has always stated that ALL U.S. People will be required to be shot up with the toxic, cerebrally-compromising, & carcinogenic chemical cocktail that each and every NEVER-tested, NEVER-proven, and insidious vaccine that TPTB concoct is comprised of. The reason I emphasized "FEDERAL" is because that distinction now supersedes any "state" regulation or exemption. This tyrannical monster is GLOBAL. And if you think that the subject I just wrote of is U.S.-centric, you're incorrect; Compulsory vaccination was first introduced in the UK, through the 1853 Vaccination Act ... where these Beasts are from. This song IS the Working Man's Anthem!

Saw these guys for the first time in Seattle last night. I had never heard of them before, feel like I have been living under a rock. They played with Fit For An Autopsy, Lorna Shore, Last 10 Seconds of Life....these dudes stole the show! Epic and just fuckin brutal performance! Can't wait to see them again!

This sounds great. I´m happy there are no clean vocals in here which makes it even better. As usual, there are people arguing what genre it is. Can´t just music be fucking good and don´t have to fit in a box? Just enjoy it damn it!

✊ Guessing the lyrics strike a deep-rooted nerve or 2, or 10 in you?! So powerfully paired with explosive ferocity, they rekindle, quite possibly, memories shared by parents, grandparents, etc. of years of war torn devastation? This is indeed a Revolutionary Anthem, which so crisply illustrates the sheer magnitude of Forces at work ... an Epic Masterpiece of a song! Devastatingly climactic crescendos delivered with ungodly BRUTALITY!!!

@@jonron3006 Agreed, but I was just going through a scary bout of depression when I wrote that. Brutality like this helps me get through it. But that is a very insightful description of the lyrics, and now I will have that in mind when I listen to it.

what in the actual fuck does hair and tats have to do with death metal? seriously? what...are you trying to disprove some stereotype or something? Metalheads come in all shapes sizes colors style and anything else....if you think that tats and hair define a band or the members or the fans for that matter...then bail the fuck out now because you're missing the point man...hit the bricks

@@ManinaCanArmoury In the live setting they can use a signal splitter, very slight delay and a second set up to increase not only the volume but the density. The slight almost unnoticable effect of the delay creates the illusion of a 2nd guitar. But I'm just busting your balls.... Dyscarnate is sick.
