Da iawn. Diolch yn fawr iawn am eich fideo. I'm a Welshman just recently moved to the U.S. and learning Welsh over here. I have so many random words from my years in Wales and learning on apps has helped, but I've been looking for ages for something like this. This is how I spoke to my kids when they were young and learning to speak. I don't understand why you're the only person I've found that's doing this..... but thank you. Even when i try speaking to my Welsh speaking friends back home on the phone it's not as clear, simple and easy to understand as this. You're obviously a genius 😁 please keep going!

I’m sure there’s a connection between “ceiliog” and the rooster on the Kellog’s cornflakes. Yes, Kellog’s Welsh friend suggested it as the words sound similar. Another great video Marian, diolch yn fawr iawn!

Apparently the reason there is a cockerel on Kellogg’s Corn Flakes is because on a visit to the United States the Welsh harpist Nansi Richards met Kellogg who was looking for marketing ideas for the cereal and Nansi told him that the name Kellogg sounded like the Welsh word Ceiliog (cockerel)! The red green and white colours are also possibly inspired by the colours of the Welsh flag.

just found you! amazing videos. will keep watching . would like to book private classes in the future for my 11y old son who will start year 7 in September, to help him with future gcses in welsh. Nobody in family speaks welsh. I have started learning recently myself so I cant support him much :) Also thought maybe me and my son could learn together? idea would be following some GCSE book . We live also in north wales

2:40 Diolch yn fawr. Dw i'n dysgu Cymraeg and find your videos the best for learning Welsh so far. You are a natural teacher. Are you from the North as you use Dach chi? In the South they say "ych chi..?". This is what I love about the Welsh language is the different dialects and local idioms. Godidog!👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
