It really bummed me out when they started holding gold back behind weapon leveling. There would be times in old cod’s where sometimes you could get a gun gold before even reaching max level with it and I think that shows more true mastery of a weapon.

i think the way bo4 and earlier cods did camos was better, it was easy for the top players, but hard for 95% of others, instead of hard for good players and near impossible for the casual/worse players unless they play all day

9:41 I actually was thinking about this too, where you would have different categories for each mastery camo, and each mastery camo has it’s own grind. If it’s a live service game they could add a new mastery camo every year or few months, if it was a single game they could really focus on it and make it really good

I’ve given every cod game a chance every year and have enjoyed them in some way, but Vanguard man, just doing nothing for me. I don’t know if I’m too old school, but I used to love the feel of different movement in a new cod, vanguard is the same as modern warfare but gone back in time and feels like no progression has been made. Cold War was so much better, so seeing you play older cod games I say why the hell not man, anything is better than vanguard. Love you dysmo.

Here's a thought. Once you max out the reactive camo for dark matter for a gun you can click on which one you want but only after you max out the camo for that gun to give a incentive to use other guns
