I didn't expect to get excited at the prospect of purchasing/using a vacuum cleaner but this has me amped. Great video. Well communicated. Super engaging. Great products like these are very important here in Australia as eczema and allergies are quite common as you mentioned. I'll be looking out for one of these in the future!

Just a quick note for old Dyson owners out there: Apparently, Dyson got rid of that awful grey marble plastic that they had been using since they started in the 90's which cracked and crumbled after a few years horribly. This is SO much more durable apart from the foam around the outside of the cyclone which I hope they do away with again.

With the motor head (soft floors, so for carpets) I think it works fantastically. We have carpet in the bedrooms and it works well, but our carpet is older and not thick

Worst thing about these Dyson's after about 6 months of use, you need to regularly spend time cleaning them which sometimes involves taking apart and troubleshooting, thank you for the video
@Liessshy19 күн бұрын
Understandable but to be honest, you should be regularly cleaning it anyway to get the most out of the device. That goes for any vacuum, in my opinion!

I think this money is not given to this machine, I bought gen5, but unfortunately, my advice to those who will buy it until everything is bought should read the complaints, there are those who have a lot of victimisation. I've been waiting for a carpet cap for about 2 months.

@heatherb98536 ай бұрын
I’ve been considering a stick vac because anyone who’s tried regularly vacuuming stairs in a multi level home with an upright knows how hard that is with how heavy and awkward they are. I don’t necessary agree that a small apartment is the only place for a stick vac.
@Liessshy6 ай бұрын
@heatherb9853 some stick vacs, such as this one are full of power and can do a standard house. I don't agree with their statement either. In the house im in, we do have a Dyson Big Ball too and we don't even use it because this works wonders.

Have you used this vacuum? And $500 V12? I believe we are in different countries that have different currencies. Because here in Australia, that vacuum is $1349...
@XxsoonerbornxX8 ай бұрын
@@Liessshy I’m in the US. Yes, I’ve used the v12, the v15, and the gen5. The v12 is by far the best one overall and the one I have held onto. The ONLY negative is the bin size. It’s super light, powerful and has the exact same laser. I only use stick vacs for minor cleaning because that’s all they are really designed for. I live in a large house as well and use my corded Dyson for real cleaning.
@Liessshy8 ай бұрын
I have a Dyson Big Ball too and we do not use it at all now that we have this. This is just so much power so I find it hard to believe you think the v12 is better but personal preference I guess. I have tested them all (I worked in Australia's version of Best Buy) and nothing compared to this. Especially as an allergy sufferer. My allergy count is 20x higher than the normal person (which I found out yesterday).
