Thanks for the guide! I didn't wanna "cheat" by following your builds, but I used the same seed and used your milestones as signposts for my own progress. It would have taken me at least twice as long to finish this achievement without this guide.

Still a relevant video after the Dark Fog release. I have over 600 hours in Dyson Sphere and have not achieved the 10-hour game. My biggest issue was starting... the part specifically before blue science and then the transition into red science. Perhaps the perfectionist in me worked against the rushing aspect of this phase. Thank you for creating and publishing this video and for helping me achieve my 10-hour achievement. Well done.

Finally got around to getting this achievement. I ended up with about 8:45:00. I made up time because of your tip of doubling the belt production, but then I lost a lot of time because I hadn't made blueprints for ray receivers. I figured I'd wing it since it was so close to finish, but messed up the antimatter generation. Amazing video guide, saving us tremendous work in planning a "route". Thanks a bunch!

Got the achievement, thanks to your video. Something in addition to what you advise that worked for me was to save and pause the game, note down few next steps that I need to do, do them and I feel I spent too much time doing something, load the last save and repeat.

Great video on how to do it. I got it passively a long time ago using the ABB method. ALWAYS BE BUILDING! This isn't an idle game by design. If you aren't building more production, you are falling behind.

Did he ever share the speedrun bluepints? He made a another video on the blueprints for a casual playthrough, and said he would make one on the speedrun blueprints. I wasn't able to find that video or those blueprints.

I would be interested to hear more about how you did milestone #2 between landing on planet 2 and setting up PLS. This seems to be a painful part for me. I can match your time for M1, but M2-3 are taking significantly longer. I lose a lot of time setting up those 4-row initial smelters to storage. Also, what are your thoughts about the new logistic bots? And why do you only set up proliferators in M3 and not earlier for blue and red science or stone silica?

is it just me or do none of these blueprints make a mini-fusion reactor? what are we doing for mid-game power if not using fusion?

Fusion is largely ignored, it's too expensive for what it provides and the fact in runs only on deuteron cells uses 3 valuable materials that can be used somewhere else. In a speed run like this the goal is to hit the end research of 4k white and by the time you hit that you have much better options. The thermal power plant at least had the advantage that it will eat anything combustable so you can burn off excess stuff like raw oil, processed oil, hydrogen, coal, wood, anything you can power the mech on can be fed to it as well. Solar, wind, geothermal are examples of set it and forget it, they cost nothing to run once down and keep giving forever. They won't break down or run into production bottlenecks so they are one less thing to try to figure out when something breaks. Even on normal play most will prefer a belt of solar over a fuel generated source and having 1 less thing to keep track of is huge in a speedrun. Post game production is where you need major generators like artificial star and that is where we are talking full planet production in tight belts and fully paved planets and that is aimed more at infinite research where insane numbers are the goal and running 6+stars can barely get you by on your power needs.
