I just bought one of these vacuums, but the green light is not working and the brush inside is not spinning on hard wood floors. Any advice?

That should fall well within the warranty period. I recommend calling the place you bought it from. They should be able to either swap the part or the whole vacuum if they don't stock the part by itself. You may need the box if a full swap is required.

Did you have a Tineco before this? That's what i currently have and like it just fine. But that green laser really has me interested. It's amazing how much dust is on the floor at all times... It's easy to vacuum up bigger bits, but also to leave behind all the dust.

I haven't used a Tineco, but the green light is great. At first I thought it was some sort of gimmick but it really does show junk that we normally don't see.

I just upgraded from a Tineco and it's a pretty major upgrade. The Dyson picked up a crazy amount of dirt from carpets that the Tineco just couldn't get. It also gets hard floors much cleaner (and the laser really helps see just how much dust and pet hair is on the floor). It also feels much sturdier than the Tineco. Overall I'd give the Tineco a grade C- and the Dyson grade A.

@@kingtaj thanks for sharing your experience! I've basically realized the Tineco is just a power broom to pick up big visible stuff. It does well at that. I'll use my Miele for actual vacuum cleaning. That Dyson sure looks fun, though! Enjoy!

Can i take it with me ỉn flights? I ậm mostly moving from one place to another because of my job i wonder if it’s ok to board
@jacobreviewseverything5 ай бұрын
That's a great question, but I'm not sure. Some products with an embedded battery have a "flight mode" to disconnect the battery. The Dyson hair straightener does this. But since this battery does detach I'm not sure what the rules are. If you're planning to travel with it then consider a hard case to carry it. If it's going to be put in a soft bag then I fear it may break when being handled by the airline staff.

Thx for the review. Is this the costco version?
@jacobreviewseverything5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes, this is the Costco version. Their return policy is pretty good. So if you get one and end up not liking it then you can return it. But be sure to hold on to the box until you decide you're going to keep it. A return with a box is easy, but returning some items without the original box and packaging can result in only store credit.

WHY I WILL BUY THIS EXPENSIVE VACUUM ONLY FOR DUST , WILL YOU TRY IT ON BIGGER PARTS?
@jacobreviewseverything2 ай бұрын
It's done well on everything I've tried except for very thin and light rugs. They get pulled up easily and it stops.

I just got mine today . Thank you for your review. Do you know what does the crystal/ clear one use for ? I couldn't find what does it use for like holding something . I don't know :((

Of course! I honestly haven't used that part and I don't remember what it's for. I do use this vacuum daily now though.

I just looked it up and it looks like a single accessory storage clip.

@@jacobreviewseverything thank you for your reply. Yeah I guess it can attach to the wand to store others tools.
