In 1999 i was involved with a t-shirt/screen printing outfit and there was this guy that i sold some photos of Metallica, Randy Rhoads, Kiss and what not. He knew that i liked hard music and he played guitar in a pop rock, listener friendly thing. One day i showed him the Aftermath casing and told him "This is the shit my friend." He then told me that he used to rent a bedroom from a guy who played bass in a band with the same name. He said they were terrible. Garbage even. He asked me if the bassist had dreads and i confirmed that he indeed did. He couldn't understand the draw to that sound. When i heard his bands demo/ep, it all made sense to me.

@@somenothing7914 its hard to say. i loved all the times i saw them but i imagine you've seen the gilman show thats filmed right behiind todd. that would be my favorite simply because you could feel the energy a lot more there than some of the other times.. i was also at the lachrymose show where dino cut the word LOSER into his chest with a dystopia razor blade.. crazy shit... i have an email from that dude laying around currently. i dont know divisia, no. they have some nice art though

Dystopia's sound is hard to describe for me. Sludge, Crust for sure. But those mellow sections; they seem more traditional Sabbath or something along those lines, I'm more into really disgusting heavy stuff, so *Shrug*
