I like seeing larger battles like this even though they do take a long time to play. What I've done in the past when involved in a large game was to try and set it up at one person's house so we cold leave it and come back the next day to finish it up, makes for a fun weekend. Also I really liked having the sub titles this time so maybe using them a bit more when describing fleets as well as afterwards??

This was fun, and it's great seeing everyone together playing! I think a mix of these larger and smaller battles would be nice to see on the channel, so you get a bit of each now and again!

Sorry it took a few days to get the time to watch this, but it was worth finding the time for! What an amazing battle! Even if it took you guys a whole day to play it seems like you had a whale of a time. 😁 The board and the models both looked great and really well painted. I've been trying to figure out how big the the statue of Ganesh (I assume) would be. Even in the middle on an intense battle it must have been a spectacular sight to from the deck of a ship. I agree that feeling forced to take mercenaries sucks.

Wow! What an epic battle! And it really showed the importance of using Strategic Reserves. I hate that the Schneider was shredded and shelved, because I just bought that set and was hoping that it would be awesome for The Enlightened. I'd love to play in a game this huge, but ten hours is a long time for this family man. LOL. Great job on this report.

Really fun battle to see! It was really back and forth fighting which was really cool to see! I agree it was a little much for the strategic reserves and how powerful they are. The game overall comes across as very killer.

Definiteley MY source of inspiration to go on and buy another box ;) Thanks a lot for sharing guys and keep up the good work. I've been listening to this one while building up my own platforms from the Cyclone of Shadows Box and can't wait to watch again and have a closer look at the fleets and the course of the game. Just one thing I already noticed: The "Sharpshooter" Rule of the Gladius is meant to only apply to attacks with the Gunnery Quality as far as I know. Mistake on my part or tactically genius misinterpretation by the Alliance player? :)

Well there's a size of game we can all aspire to! Apologies if I missed it, but was that still a 6x4 table? And if so, was it starting to feel crowded at all/would a 8x4 work better? Either way, good game, and looking forward to the next battle report!

Very starnge, i was the first to comment ( video online for 13 min) and know my comment it is gone. but still great game, great channel, need more dystopian wars online, and yes count me in for that battle fleet.

Definitely sounds like strategic reserves tendbto run a little strong. Some other thoughts for fixes if you find using crippled values on thr turn yoy arrive isnt enough 1) on the crit for turn 1 or turn 2 you dont have access to the entire board edge only half of it, but you can roll to show up on the crit to access the entire board edge or turn 3 you can show uo from anywhere on the board edge 2) you dont automatically show up on turn 2 but instead only show up on any hit result and if you dont show up turn 2 then turn 3 you show up on anything but a blank and failing that you show up automatically on turn 4

Merci ! On a passé une dizaine d'heures en tout environ, mais en comptant les discussions entre alliés, les vérifications de règles, les bières, les cafés, le repas... au final ça a dû représenter 4 heures de jeu maximum 🙂
