Gorgeous footage! I'm not a fan of contemporary glass, but there's something special about these lenses...

I ordered a set. I received the 100mm and was able to keep in after doing the test. They are very beautiful lenses. There is a project by a company called V35 where they plan on taking these Arles lenses and “detuning” them until the render a vintage look. That may be something worth looking into :) These lenses are quite lovely though… the price point is spectacular as well when you consider how well they perform.

@@FramesOfInfluence Yeah, those guys are in my town. I think it's cool, but the the thing about the Arles is the bokeh, not that I normally would care about that, but there's something about the way these lenses render that goes beyond the usual vintage/clinical divisions. I can't afford a set. Trying to decide if I get one whether to get the 50mm or stretch to get the 35mm/75mm as a combo for my Blackmagic 6k ff.
