Maybe one does, first, understand through one's intellect but then one has to enter really and truly, concretely, in practice. Both teacher and translator had an outstanding knowledge of Italian! I am impressed by Rinpoche's skilled use of Italian to express difficult concepts such as those explained here ! It makes them really easy to understand and never boring
